I had missed you--I wasn't sure what happened to you!
You're not too far from me in Minnesota--we might just have to hook up and get naughty! In the meantime I look forward to your naughty mayhem on the board!

are you of the mind that all men and all women are basically the same?
you know---all men just have one thing on their mind or all women are just users?
there's so much stereotyping when it comes to males and females...typical man, typical woman.
What about Sappho...isn't she credited with creating Song/poetry as we know it?
I would counter there have been lots of great women in history but we know little to nothing of them because the vast majority of history is written by men.
Or how about Murasaki Shikibu--she wrote the first novel.
THE TALE OF GENJI, one of the masterpieces of Japanese literature, is the world's first extended fictional narrative. Its author, Murasaki Shikibu, lived much of her life in the royal court in Kyoto, where she was the center of a group of bril- liant women who competed for status through their literary skills. Her novel, finished sometime around 1008, concerns the colorful life of the court, with its many political and romantic intrigues. Hundreds of characters fill the book, but at its center is an elegant prince known as "the shining Genji." The novel's powerful feminine vision, its sympathy with the plight of women at court, its subtlety of language and penetrating psychological insights--all were unprecedented. The Tale of Genji remains a surprisingly modern work; it has recently been translated and recognized outside Japan as one of the great contributions to world literature. Its influence has been broad, not just in Japan, where it remains a principal source of stories for Noh drama, the Kabuki stage and contemporary cinema, but throughout the Western world. Any serious discussion of the structures, forms and intentions of the novel--the most significant new literary genre of the millennium--must take into account Murasaki's stunning achievement.
he was a simple, somewhat bright, but really geeky indian boy...struggled with his faith and personal problems.... .
but he found a group of great friends with shoulders to cry on and to celebrate all that was good in his life, which he a built in spite of others who claimed to be family and friends.
you are the reason for 100 deluded, inane posts by me...the badger!.
Hee hee...Newbie...
Congrats on prolific posting! I've enjoyed reading 'em!
However--if you're trying to show your pics, we can't see them on your C-Drive, they have to be hosted on the internet, or you can host them here now.

my mother told me that after i get married, she's going to give me the "family happiness" book.
i've never read the thing, but i know it's a wts publication that often gets given or mailed out to newlyweds who aren't in the troof.
what's your opinion of this "fine christian publication"?
"A woman psychologist wrote: ?Basically, women feel while men think.? "
A) Why should I read a book that can't even properly quote a source.
B) How did that woman ever find time to leave her kitchen and get a degree?
i just noticed that the chicago cubs are winning!!!!
i will not be here to see your comments....only during commercials.
i saw the whole game last night and all i can say is kerry wood is a stud!!
time to crack the stuffiness out of ourselves today.
well...let's say, everyday.. i'm going to have some fun here, because well, anything besides that, is no fun.. questions, questions, and more questions, and what will the answers be?
you decide.. 1. are you an exjw, but still have remnants (shhh) of former jw thinking?.
1. Are you an exJW, but still have remnants (shhh) of former JW thinking? Nope
2. Are you 'out' there? as in, not afraid to be seen on an apostate site, or known to be a former JW? Not 100% no. I live with my parents still so I try to make it as easy on them as possible.
3. Are you angry, bitter or sad, as a result of your exposure and participation in JW activities/lifestyle? Nope
4. Do you still have this feeling 'Armageddon' could still come anyday or in the future? Nope
5. What was your biggest epiphany that lead you to leave the JWs, or at least make plans to do so? This is a tough one: it was so many things all piled up. Double standards, the mentatlity of most JW's, the fact that other religions had nice people and nice ideas about God, the fact that if this was such a wonderful religion why did I wan nothing to do with it?
6. Do you still read/believe in the bible? I believe it is a nice book written by dead guys who tried their best to understand the nature of existance.
7. Do you still believe in god/higher power? Nope
8. Do you accept other exJWs with opposing views than yours: athieism/agnostic vs. belief in god/higher power? (vice-versa) Yes. I envy people like LT and Megadude for having a strong faith when I find it impossible to. Sometimes I think it would be nice to have something like that. But the more I search, the more convinced I am there is nothing but the here and now. And that doesn't bother me like it used to. I am at peace with that.
9. Do you grade people on their disfellowshipping offenses? ie: apostacy, fornication, smoking etc. LOL...people actually do this??
10. Are you still a JW? (no names required) On a technicality--I never was one. I never took the dip.
11. Anything you'd like to add, for what it's worth? My cat's breath smells like cat food!
would you attend the funeral/memorial service?
assuming that it would be held in a kh; or even if it wasn't.. this is something that's been on my mind lately; honestly, i'm not sure why.
my parents are both still relatively young; 60 and 61. my dad has been diagnosed with skin cancer but both are otherwise healthy.. i really don't know whether i would; particularly for my father.
As of yet, my parents haven't shut me out. It's unthinkable to me that I wouldn't attend.
Even if they did shut me out, I would still go. They were MY parents. Love em or hate em, they are responsible for my being. It's only resonable that I be reponsible enough to be at their end.
single or married or living with someone (if you can talk about).
what do you :like in your situationdislike in your situation.
for better understanding please tell us also your age.
Badger that's why you need to hook up with an apostate chick like me!
Just kiddin!
It's hard after you've been cheated on, speaking from experience here (wanna read the whole sorid affair? http://www.jehovahs-witness.com/6/57532/1.ashx), to think you'll ever find someone again. It kinda shakes you down that--ok apparetnly I am not as wonderful as I thought I am. But the truth is you are still wonderful, you were just with someone who didn't see that.
Keep hanging out with your friends. Eventually you'll meet someone, and yeah--I'd steer clear of the JW womenz until you figure out if you want to stay in or not. It's not fair to either of you if you end up not wanting to be a JW. You need to go out with some work friends. You'd be surpised how many womenz would like to go out with you.
Just my thoughts on the matter--
