  What a crazy world

  so here is my story, i find it exceedingly funny for some reason - and just proves what a tangled ordeal we're left with even after having been gone for years and years.

  ok ordeal is probably too strong a word for this situation - but tangled none-the-less.. first the background: .

  i am not a witness, technically never got baptized so therefore my family has a loophole to still talk to memy father was an elder he stepped down when i was like 8 or 9 because as he said, "i am in no way trained or equipped to deal with these people's problems"i'm getting married in septemberthe wedding is going to be in my jw parents backyard and i am marrying a worldly man - who despite this they have learned to like anyway.

  One Sentence

  i look back on all my posts here sometimes (ok not literally - i'm too verbose to look at all of them) and can't believe where i am today.

  not that i am sitting on top of the world as the most successful person - but the small victories i have achieved over the past few years really did seem impossible to my pessimistic and damaged little mind when i first started posting here.

  when i look back i have a lot of anger in my first posts - and man oh man what a rocky relationship with my parents.

  we'll never be "right", not completely anyway.. so for a spin-off of a spin-off...i'm curious what others thoughts are on this statement?.

  anyone who was raised by jw's knows music was a big "snare" of the devil.

  rock was the soundtrack to destruction, and rap could get you pregnat!

  you could groove out to the oldies with your parents, or perhaps you were lucky enough to get your own set of the instrumental kingdom melodies!.
