  I slept...but only sort of. I kept waking up thinking, "Is it morning yet?"

  LOL.

  But any other day I have to get my crowbar to heave myself out of bed. Nothing like the smell of apostafest in the air. It's an acrid smell but unmistakable.

  Dude if it's going to be as cold in Chicago as it is in Minnesota this weekend (which it probably will be) I'm not sure how much trekking I wanna be doing Downtown...BRRRRRRRR!

  We will need to stock up on toe and mitten heaters. Eye - are you up for a trip to REI to get the needed supplies and a thermal donkey heater? I'm not leaving Pepe home alone all weekend.

  well peeps, we made our reservations. We're staying at the Hyatt Regency O'Hare. Bring your suits (bathing, that is) for a little fun and fornication in the swimming pool/hot tub/sauna/all of the above. there's a kick ass pool, nice restaurant(s), bar and we're only 2 blocks from the El. If anyone wants to party with us friday or later saturday, you're more than welcome. we should be rolling into town probably around 7, if we pee out the window and gramma doesn't drive!

  i am posting this because i know there are many people that have had experiences that cannot be explained by natural means.

  i am a ghost hunter, as a hobby.

  my hobby is to disprove ghosts.

  LOL...no lie, I love stuff like this and have always been so interested in it. I love that show Ghost Hunters. Mostly because they try to disprove the evidence they collect. They don't get all hyper like some of those shows. 9 times out of 10 they don't find anything, which gets disapointing of course, but then when they do find something that they can't disprove, it just makes it that much more compelling I think.

  I've never personally had an experience, but would welcome it if it happened.

  if we are so concerned about the wt and know the role organizations play in our sociaty,

  then with moral responsability we should be able to provide a complete real answer instead of just complaint about the wt, if we can't then...

  lets assume you are a gb member and your proposal (complete real answer) has the chance of being approved.

  Do you have experience runniing a major corporation?

  I think this is why so many have a problem with JW's. It's a religion run like a business. Sheesh I work in Marketing -- what are JW's if not a giant marketing firm for their version of God, a.k.a Jehovah?

  We track our hours, where we have been, who we talked to, we discuss what strategies we could use to better influence people to accept our services. We project a happy well polished image, we trademark it, brand it and make sure our policies and procedures are carried out in every new market and location we serve.

  We have checks and balances. A chain of comand to make sure everyone is on track. People who put in the most hours, and get the most leads are promoted to have more authority.

  Are we talking about my job or Jehovah's Witnesses? Frankly those descriptions work for either one.

  my mom was born to a jewish family on staten island, new york 50 years ago.

  she learned "the truth" from a group of sisters who told her that the jews were not god's chosen people and that she needed to be baptized.

  she went through most of her life not following the society to a "t".
