ok so my parents big deal has always been while i may not go to meetings they are free to ask about my religious status, and invite me to meetings (i do not have to accept the invitation) as long as i live under their roof.

my parents other big deal is to go out to lunch after the sunday meeting.

in fact, they usually say "say, wanna come to the meeting tomorrow?

i was looking for some bad 80's pics to post of me in another thread, and i came across a ton of me and my sister.

there is a big age gap between us, she is 12 years older than me.

so when i was in kindergarten she was a senior in high school.

i have no idea why this thought came to me but i made all my coworkers describe themselves by comparing themselves to a genre of music.

so what kind of music would you be?

please note i did not say what kind of music you like, but rather what style of music best represents who you are.

Good and Bad News...

the good news-

women are more than twice as likely to climax during sex if their partner has extremely symetrical features.. the bad news- men with extremelysymetrical features are less attentive to their partners and are more inclined to cheat on them.. given that: ladies, who's your lover of choice?.

and i don't want to hear any crap about personality either....

ok peoples, i need some honest, objective criticism.

a friend of mine is doing a project for her masters.

she works at the women's center on my campus and is collecting stories and poetry from victims of assult, or family or friends of victims, and then printing them, under the theory that support, personal therepy, understanding, etc.

it just dawned on me...you can't give someone the finger if you are wearing mittens.. this may be of little importance to some of you in warm areas, but this bothers/intrigues me.

if i wanted to flip a bird while wearing mittens the person i am sending it to would just think i am angrily waving at them, and then the padded wagon of doom would come.. would more mittens in our society qwell road rage?.

i was also pondering skipping...i haven't had a good skip in ages!.

i just got done reading the thread on birthdays...it was very well written.

i especially liked the part about being careful not to have a narrow joyless existance.. today is fathers day.

i had several people ask me what i was getting my dad, and i replied, nothing, this isn't because i don't love him.

How about Home Schooling?

ok first off this is the first time i have ever made up a topic.

secondly, i was reading another thread about teen development and the borgs control over adolescents, and that got me to thinking.

i dont know what anyone elses experiences were like in their congregations but 85% of the kids in my hall were home schooled their entire lives, or were taking correspondence courses instead of attending high school.
