  my mom just called and said my brother in law was found unconscious out in california.

  he was on a business trip and was jogging which he does religiously every day.

  the only id he had on him was his hotal key so they tracked him down.

  wuzllovesdubs==this is just so horrible for you and your family...nothing worse than not being able to help when needed,,and just waiting for a "word"....i do not pray,,,but if it is of any help to you....if i could,,,i would bring you over supper/drinks...so you would not have to worry about that and maybe the pressure would not be so bad...

  but i can't...but i really would if i could....really!! my heart is with you at this time,,,,you are not alone with this,,,as you can see from the posts here..

  i remember when i first started questioning the wts/jws.

  there were so many scandals and teachings and history to explore and research.

  i needed to learn everything i could about every little inconsistency, every mistake, every scandal in order to convince myself that i was on the correct path to freedom from this false religion.

  A split between the WT Corp and the Christian Cong of JW?

  is there the possibility of a split between the wt corp and the christian cong of jw?

  it has been discussed in this forum that it is highly unlikely that the wt corp will disappear or be brought down.

  they will always have followers.

  What would Jesus Christ say if he returned today?

  this was always one of the main justifications for me in leaving the wt behind.

  i was just wondering how many of you have ever reasoned in the same way.. i have often wondered how jesus christ would react if he came back to the earth now and how he would view the organisation who claim to represent his standards?.

  would jesus really want to be associated with paedophilia, false prophecies, shunning, the destruction of families, lies, untruths, hypocritical leaders and the lack of love amongst members?.

  i was wondering how they got the charter from the un in the first place...if because they were/ are members it was sent to them?? and why the special talk??? why not a regular watchtower meeting,,,,and if special talks are all the same,,,how come all the congregations did read it?? to me that is highly irregular...just my thoughts...

  there was a post made earlier, that got me thinking about this.. it seemed that when i was a witness if something bad happened to me the usual reply was, 'well you must be serving god right, satan is making.

  shooting in Wichita Falls, Texas this pm

  a little after 9. pm this evening, a gunman entered hasting a book store and shot 5 people with a shotgun, he then left went to a street and at last report killed himself.

  he had earlier shot and killed a doorman at a place called "tobys" and may have wounded another person there prior to going to hasting and shooting the five people lthere, no reports of how the people at hastings have fared..
