I would see why not. We had tons of JWs who are growing old or died that had WT bound volumes no one wanted them.

Wow I have been given the exact same advice. That is why I never believe what the elders (brothers in position) say right away. I have been around too long to see most give THEIR opinion and people put their blinders on and follow the bright light with NO thought what so ever.

i was once counseled for not shaving after two days.

i was also counseled by a sister for eating lucky charms cereal.

He wanted to get his rocks off. I have had a family member who was asked questions VERY inappropriate questions during a JC. I swear some get off on other's activites and go off into perv fantasy land.

my friends wife just divorced him with no scriptural grounds about a year ago.

kicked him out changed the locks on his own house won't let him see his children.

he was living in his truck for two months.

If you were smart enough you would have seen in a split second what this site was about. So stop with the lame excuses. If this bothers you SO much go away and not continue to pick fights. I do not agree with some here but I respect their beliefs just like I would hope they would respect mine.

my parents were to attend the dc in tulsa, when they arrived, there was no parking and no seats available.

is this because there are more people in the area or fewer locations and times?.

any ideas?.

But remember the attendants and other workers are inside the building and can quickly save seats, faster than people outside the building.

Is it true they are starting to strong-arm people to sit with their assigned congregations? We always sat with friends and family from other congregations (any place that had enough room), but the latest news is they want all members to sit in the same area with their congregation (I guess to make sure "Brother Noshow" was present all three days). I can't imagine having assigned seating.

That is completely new to me and is not done at least in New England.

At least during our conventions....I know that no brothers who are already inside can save seats until 8 am. Yes it is sad to see people running, I always hated that and refused to follow suit. "IF" brothers see seats saved prior to the doors opnening they pick up the items.

I have been around as a kid from the 70's until now and have seen changes but I still hate trying to be told what to do for stupid things.
