I cannot see the photos but I am guessing the Woonsocket, RI KH. John Pendlebury is an old timer also on the Hospital Liason Committee. He seems nice, raising his grandchild. His daughter went wacky, always in "trouble" and everyone kept looking the other way.

hi, folks.

been thinking of this, because of having been raised in the witnesses.

i reflect back on opportunities i would have encountered and seized, had it not been for being controlled by the witness organization being told higher education was not needed.

Plus I haven't done bad in life with the hand I've been dealt. I'm not starving by any means. At the same time not a day goes by that I don't wonder what if I had went to college, what if I hadn't been born in this cancer of a religion?

I feel the same way. I cannot complain too much.....my life could be so much worse. I have a great job but I fell into this position....it was not my goal to be doing what I am now.

This is a sore spot with me. I have no hard feelings towards my parents, they honestly thought how they were guiding me was the right way. I loved school excelled in it. I SO wanted to attend college, but there was always an underwritten rule that I could not go, I dared not to ask. What is so frustrating is that there were literally dozens of universities with in an hours drive. One was 10 min from my parent's home. I graduated with high honors from high school and regular pioneered. Then a few years after HS the WTS eased up on their high education stance. I was completely devasted and thought how in the world can they do a complete 180?

it was requested of someone on the board via pm to tell our story.

i'll try to keep it brief, for me that's hard.

mrs. flipper was raised catholic and got out when she was 12 because the nuns and cathlolic school teachers didn't like her independent thinking mind.

today's been somewhat of a strange day for me, but what concerns me is that i can't provide an explanation why.

i awoke a couple minutes before my alarm clock went off, as i always do.

its rare that the alarm wakes me.

Witness Dfed, employer fires employee

ok, what happens in the case of a person being dfed who works for another witness, if the witness fires him/her for being df?

lets assume the df person wants to get back in.

many times a person who is dfed still believes in the org...and feels guilty so would not file an unemployment claim.

The way most elders are that may get in the way. Completely wrong but I would not be suprised if it did happen. They would be really stupid because I would think this person can sue the elders involved.
