  Worst-Paying College Degrees

  these are the worst paying paying jobs in the us and possibly in canada and western europe.

  Some of these careers do not need a college education; though it might make it easier for some to get the job. You can take courses for drama or music or fine arts without a college degree, and still be successful - depending upon talent and perseverance. Hospitality and tourism is another field that does not require a college degree. Some people (many, actually, in my experience) just climb up the ladder.

  Some of the programs offered at college are there foremost to bring income in for the school.

  I'm not knocking college education. Most times the benefits outweigh the debt. But not all the time.

  This entire article :

  Cutting off association with the WT is not equivalent to cutting off association with Christ. I found spirituality and joy when I put my faith in Christ, alone. A 'who' to turn to, and not a 'where'.

  One typo that I found:

  Truth does not change ! If something is truth, the is (should be this) remains the truth, regardless of the passing of time.

  Japanese Sumo Wrestling, Good Or Bad?

  i hate to be a sports critic but nevertheless, i find this kind of wrestling as going far on the top.

  i have great respect for other country's culture but the question is: how far should we tolerant extremist sport that glorify pain and suffering as a price of achievement?

  What is your concept of God?

  given that the god of the old testament & the new testament don't seem to match up, and our first impression of god may be based on our parents, and the many progressive christian religions that stress god's love and grace, we probably all have completely different ideas of who god is; if he/she does exist.

  i always thought god was a strict, bad-tempered kill-joy..

  Feeling down

  my son got suspended from school for fighting.

  not just fighting but choking another boy during their fight.

  he started it in anger over something the other boy did, but none of that actually matters.

  My son went to school today and apologized to the other boy for both losing his temper and for hurting him. He took responsibility all on his own, with no prodding from anyone - including me.

  I am so proud of him!

  What a great step into taking responsibility for his anger and his actions.

  I know we have a long road ahead of us, but one must celebrate each victory as it comes!

  Was it EX JW literature / WT's or the BIBLE which woke you up? Post scriptures if any....

  i considered myself immune to ex jw stuff.

  no amount of old watchtowers or anything would change me.

  it was seeing treatment of others by elders and the bible itself, which woke me.

  I never joined, but I was going to after a two year bible study. What changed my mind was WT literature and my conscience and then finally the internet. I had begun looking forward to Armageddon - you know, a terrible yet short time in which everyone will awaken and receive a second chance. Then I reread the revelation book, and discovered that no one who died in revelation would get that second chance.

  I had been looking forward to that?

  Who in their right mind can do that and actually feel any love of neighbor/enemy?

  I stopped then and there. True or not, I couldn't get behind the teaching or the eagerness for it to come. Then I started searching the internet, found out all the failed prophecies and dates, as well as sites like jwfacts, and I realized it wasn't the 'Truth' after all.

  england is the oldest nation-state in europe.

  it is a pround and historic nation that is often buried under a "british" identity by the uk government.

  within the european unon, scotland and wales are treated as regional entities, yet england is broken up into 6 regions and is not acknowledged as an entity in itself.
