  i am a dfshipped person who is working towards reinstatement.. i would like to meet anyone else who also would like to return.. i really would prefer not to meet people who want to criticize my desire to return.

  i would like to enjoy and offer encouragemnt to others like me.

  Clarity your nic is on the other hand quite pronounceable!

  I'm middle aged, been an elder, and "stepped" down from that responsibility after reading Crisis of Conscience.

  My wife is very loyal to the Watchtower still, she used to be a full time pioneer. Now she's an ongoing Aux.

  I'm withdrawing more and more from doing "theocratic stuff". My wife even asked if I was going to the Special Day.

  I said yes to that just to be able to catch up with some other wanabe faders I've known since my awakening.

  I started partaking at the memorial in 2007 and after the "abuse" from my local BOE and then CO about it I

  came to question the "Society" more and more. My first urges to look into WT History lead me to search the internet

  and in an article on Wikipedia I read about Ray Franz and that motivated me to get his books. After reading them

  I knew I had to do something, I didn't want to be an enforcer of WT policies and was looking for more Christian Freedom.

  That led to more internet searches and this website.

  I've also researched my family history and come to appreciate my Sephardic Jewish heritage.

  Although I was raised Roman Catholic, thru my maternal grandmother I can trace back my roots to the Eastern Spanish shores,

  and a converso family, although...

  I consider myself a believer in Jesus as the Messiah and by that definition definitely a Christian.

  Pioneer Service School Adjustment for 2014

  the pioneer service school will now be only one week, monday thru saturday.. it will consist of 40 hours of instruction and illustrations/presentations.. the reasong given is that this will make it more accessible to the pioneers for due to work schedules and for congregations having to sponsor and support the school.. it will make it easier on everyone and those who haven't attended in the last five years may be able to attend this school with the new curriculum.. .

  what do you feel would be included in the new curriculum.

  probably more worship of the governing body and they don't need two whole weeks to get this across.. .

  between two congregations that i know of four elders have stepped down in the last two months!

  there is something really going on in this mandmade organization!

  it's busting at the seams!.

  Talking afterwards with three other Witnesses we had a big laugh about paragraphs 12 and 16.

  On paragraph 12 it says Jesus came with his father and chose the FDS in 1919. Then in

  paragraph 16 it says when WILL Jesus come, again??? Why did he (and his father to boot)

  have to leave after 1919 then come back again. And don't the scriptures say that Jesus

  will be there with two or three that meet in his name?

  It's just so obvious to many of the R&F that the WT doctrines are quite convoluted.

  everybody knows it's going to pass.

  nobody ever asks if possibly that much money for the circuit overseer's whatever isn't a bit too much, or whatever else the congregation is being asked to agree to.

  then the call to raise your hand if in favor of doing the "right thing.

  It's interesting how they ask "all in favor" and the majority raises their hands "sheep-mindedly"

  They don't bother to ask "all against" in my congregation, nor others I've visited.

  It's taken for granted that there's always a majority in favor so there's no need to see if any are against.

  Here in the North East there's two sites I know of where tickets aren't required.

  Natick, MA and Springfield, MA.

  The Natick assembly hall is in Bacon St. and has scheduled meetings for both the Saturday and Sunday sessions.

  If you show up dressed for it, bring a songbook and old Bible I don't think anyone will be saying anything to you.

  If you go, why not bring along a voice recording device you can discreetly carry in your pocket or purse?

  No no no Cedars, you're behind the times ol' chap.

  She's talking about the 345 or so that partook of the emblems in Reno.

  The Society sent 4 bro's from Bethel HQ to look into this and sort things out.

  They've deleted the BOE and dispersed the Reno Cong into four other Circuits,

  not other four neighboring congregations, no, split it into four different Circuits.

  HQ feels that the quartering would be hint enough for any other Congos in the

  area that are feeling like they too are of God's Children with a heavenly hope.

  Besides the two who are making the AnointedJW website there's literally

  thousands who are feeling like they no longer trust the Watchtower to decide

  what should be their hope. The GB is curling it's upper lip and acting up.

  I started partaking in 2007 and know 3 others who likewise have started

  partaking. If you're still in and have come to Christ then it's an obvious step

  if you can't just leave due to family. May the New Partakers keep growing!

  It's a Crisis of Confidence! To not Trust the GB and Trust in Jesus instead!

  we've been getting texts from our daughter all morning.

  flash flooding is making a real mess of the front range, we're watching the weather channel and the streets in boulder look like rivers.

  daughter is standing by for evacuation orders, not sure where they're going to take her or how - probably ng vehicles.. i'll post more if i hear anything dramatic..

  I hope you guys out west make it through ok

  here in the North East we're having flash floods as well. With incredible thunder and lightning and

  several towns have lost power. On the way home I saw a police cruiser that had gone off the road and was a real wreck.

  There were two fire engines and an ambulance at the site of the accident.

  My windshield wipers were going as fast as they could and the rain was coming down in sheets so fast that it was a guessing game whether you were on the right lane or not sometimes. I just kept following the red brake lights in front of me as I made the half hour long trek home that turned into a twice as long commute, but thank god I made it home.Feeling bad for all those now still out there. Lightning is so bad there's no delay till the thunder, one thunder clap just jolted the house and I felt the vibration on the computer table as I write this. Rain is coming down so fast the road in front of the house has about two inches of water flowing down the street at quite a pace.
