I had to go because of my mom =/ And did u know what i noticed, they use the same exact biblical texts as last year, the same order and everything! So it really is the same thing every year, nothing different, i dont understandthe big deal they make of it

How to tell my mom im moving out?? Need advice please
by cia112 inwell i'm 22 years old, still in college, i live with my mom but she is driving me crazy with her jw nonsense, ive been dealing with it all my life and i really cant take anymore of this, i have a boyfriend, non jw (which my mom hates) and i could barely see him because she doesnt let me go out!
we have 4 years together and i really dont want to keep on like this, im not baptized but i am a publisher.... .
so the thing is, i want to move out with my boyfriend but i have no idea how to break the news to her, she drives me nuts but shes my mother and i love her, i dont want to hurt her but enough is enough...she's probably going to disown me, but i really just want to be happy already...so does anybody have any ideas what i can do?.

Why isnt it such a wise move to move in with the boyfriend? Many say it isnt a good choice, is it because of what might happen if it doesnt work out? but isnt a marraige like that? So no one should get married? Im really curious why? =]

Thank you for all of your advice, my boyfriend graduates soon from college and i will in 2 years, our plan is to move out by the next year, so we are saving up money til then...and if things dont work out i will deff not move back in with my mom! i guess we'll have to work things out, i know things are going to be very different and difficult but you have to start somewhere, i cant always be in my moms clutches, her always telling me what to do, about me and my boyfriend we'll just have try and make things work, thats what a relationship is all about...

Thanks for all of your wonderful advice everyone! Ill try to make the best out of the situation...Well to answer some questions my dad was a JW but died 2 years ago...he really didnt get in my life like my mom does...and unfortunately i live outside of the US at the moment so its kind of hard to make money in the dominican republic and i seriously want to be done with school as fast as possible. But as soon as i graduate ill go back to the US, apply for a job and be done with this ASAP!
On other news my mom had recently said to me that if i marry my current boyfriend him being worldy and all she will practically disown me, as if she had no daughter... it really really hurt when she said that but i dont think that when im on my own i want that kind of thing in my life, i feel bad saying it but good ridance if thts the way she feels.
Another thing i dont understand, alot of young people in my congregation actually eat all this stuff up and end up not going to college and preach 24/7! How can you believe in all this crap! Like seriously, is god really gonna kill everyone who isnt a Jehova's witness??? when the bible says hes a god of love, peace, justice, etc

Thanks for the advice guys, it really is frustrating! Cause this woman is really a fanatic! I have 4 older siblings, one became inactive, the other disfellowshiped, the other studied but never got into it and the last one just stopped going to the meetings, lucky for them theyre all older than me and make money themselves lol, but no im not baptised, my mom keeps giving me the talk so i can take tht step cause im her last hope, but no thank you.
I have 21 years to vent so get ready guys lol and thanks again!

So basically everytime i dont want to go preaching she starts saying how shes gonna leave and i could support myself.
Another thing is that i have a boyfriend who isnt a JW and ever since she found out she treats me mad cold, as if im not her daughter, and shes telling all these lies about him to everybody! The rest of my family dont like him cause of her! I really wish i can leave but i dont know where to go or how to pay for my stuff, i just need 3 more years to graduate so i guess i jusnt need to hold on to this torture for a lil while longer.. =[
