were you a fish out of water?.
were you popular in your congregation?.
were you a "marked" person?.
Isnt it sooo sad to be judged for the wrong reasons? Nothing to do with hearts and love and Christianity....

I was popular cos of being so spiritual..until I became a single parent and a divorcee...then I went down in everyone's estimation ...but mostly the elders...

i would like to know does jhw teaches what grace is , and how to recieve grace without any works , merits and qualifications?.
what is saved grace to jhw?.
if we are saved in the name of jesus why do they have to do things like go witnessing , and etc to get god to accept them when grace has already made us righteous un jesus and not jehovah?.
I understand grace to mean 'undeserved kindness'..

a quote from "crisis of conscience".
don't be afraid to read it.. .
whatever the initial distress - a distress that sometimes follows the demenaing experience of being interogated by men who, in effect strip one of dignity, make the weight of their authority felt, and presume to judge adversely one's standing with god - however torn one may feel inside, afterward there is a distinct feeling of relief, of peace.
Spot on !! I loved the book.

i am a third generation of jehovah witnesses, even if i never got baptized.
however, they disfellowship me when i was around 15. this was around 1987. even if i have not been in the "truth" for so many years it has affected all my life in many ways not only negative.
a couple of years ago i thought the events in the world maybe proved to me that they were right after all.
Welcome to the forum. Education is a wonderful thing isnt it?

lets begin by stating that i love our american cousins accross the pond!
what i'm talking about is the way the watchtower and awake mags seemed to be so biased towards only the usa.
constandly glorifing the us and seeming to tune the articles to a us reader.
Yep I'd have to agree with this it's very Americanised...used to put a lot of Brits off actually...mm maybe a good thing then? lol

i hate to exercise, therefore i haven't really ever done it, and stuck with it.
i've had 6 children, and am quite sedentary.
i get really bad migraines when my blood pressure rises, hence hating excercise.. .
To be fair though with WW say you only have 21 points a day allowance depending on your BMI, well you can use them wisely or use them all on chocolate...things like vegetables are free of points though ...it works ...it really does..
