  the wt of september 15, 2010 (kool-aid version) has two articles on unity.

  one is titled: unity identifies true worship and the other christian unity glorifies god.

  of course it is more uniformity, not true unity.

  here on jehovahs-witness.net i have come across theists, atheists and those that are agnostic that all claim to be friends because they're ex-witnesses like it is all that is needed for religious unity.. .

  why isn't this on the ad?.

  because every atheist i've talked to believes jehovah's witnesses are just another organization of stupid adults with imaginary friends, just a splinter of mainstream christianity a lot like the branch davidians.

  what difference does it make whether you were born into a cult or were brought in as a teen or adult?

  Taking away the love of a family, taking away the simple things of home, celebration, and appreciation for the life we have is abuse. Teaching people to have a hope of something that is a total fabrication and lie, even to the point of not speaking to their own family is the worst kind of abuse.

  My youngest daughter was a 'born in' and reading this made me feel so sick inside.

  hey everyone,.

  i have a friend who is divorcing her jw husband, she is baptized but has not attended a meetting in nearly 5 years.

  the other day he came at her with proverbs 31 and telling her that she is not living up to her christian duties as a wife.

  born in.20 years old.only mom is in the truth.i have 2 sisters the one studies occasionally.dad agrees with jw stuff but won't join.i am unbaptised publisher since i was 12,i used to read from the bible and comment but not anymore since february.i seldom miss meetings and go door to door often (well not as often as i should).few or none will call me out of the 125 persons of my congregation and i can't say i know them at all (except 2 persons) even though i 'know' them since 1998.i try to stick to the rule "no wordly friends" but when it comes to friendships in the jw world i end up alone.i honestly know that this situation is encountered by many teens in the org.

  globally.maybe that's what jesus said about the absence of love in the last days..

  From priviliged to ashamed

  i just finished chapter 8 of crisis of conscience.. i used to feel humbled, but priviliged to think that jehovah drew me to his organization.

  so few find it and he allowed me!.

  now i feel humbled, but ashamed that i never examined the religion and got sucked in.

  What is truth? Discussion with my mother

  i asked this question to my mother and her husband the other night in a heated debate about the falsehood that the wbts is teaching its members.

  i reasoned that their teachings are a contradiction and how can one live their life in truth, in honesty, without deceit or lies if they accept contradiction within ones faith?.

  so again i asked them, "what is truth?
