  today we visited someone and their house was unheated.

  Yes Char, I hope so too. I already suffer with Fibromyalgia, this has been at another level.

  It seems that I have had an arthritis flare up, X-ray is on the cards to establish type. Have been in agony since Wednesday, not funny at all, reminds me of toothache. Getting a little stir crazy staying in the warm but snow outside so seems the best plan. Hot water bottle and brufen are helping.

  Why WTBTS Disfellowshipping Works...

  to the household of god, israel, and those who go with... may you all have peace!.

  i just wanted to share with you, briefly, what i have come to understand as to why disfellowshipping by the wtbts works... why it can continue being fomented as it is.

  i realize there are pages and pages of studies regarding cults and cult mindsets, etc., but i am not going to inundate you with such but rather try to keep this simple.

  I agree with whoever pointed out that the JC decisions are too subjective, having said that JCs should not have been invented by the WTBS to control people the way they do.

  Just an update

  well i have not posted or come here for a while.

  it is late but felt drawn here to leave a bit of an update.. i left my wife at the start of december.

  i half met someone online but it just made me realise very quickly how much i want to be in a loving relationship not a toxic one and what a mess everything was.

  Have You Prepared For The "Flu" And Do You Get A Flu Shot?

  i try to keep my hands clean regularly and stay away from areas and people that i know are sick.. i have never gotten a flu shot and i do know that many that do get one, get the flu anyway.. still, the flu is considered very very bad this year..

  Hubby has had these shots these past 4 years, together with quite a severe flu attack each year. I'm going to continue to pass.

  They tell lies about disfellowshipping. They convinced me that anyone who committed wrongdoing would be helped and not expelled, and that it was only an absolutely LAST RESORT for someone to be disfellowshipped, someone who repeatedly refused help, someone who was effectively rejecting Jehoveh. I believed them and thus when individuals were disfellowshipped I trusted that this is what had occurred. It was a terrible shock to discover that this was all lies.

  Thanks Char, seems opinions agree on treatment. Have put electic blanket on, hot drinks sorted and central heating is up...doctor's appointment is planned. Just very shocked at the severity.
