revelation is the most misunderstood and misused book of the bible.
the branch davidians and other cults used revelation with deadly results.
fundamentalists have used it to prognosticate a future where the antichrist and his one world government mark people with microchips or barcodes during a seven year tribulation.

some of you will have noticed that i've been paying a lot of attention to the governing body recently.
this is because most jehovah's witnesses venerate them collectively (even if they can't name them individually), and i feel this makes it important to understand this group of men properly and expose their mindset as individuals.
as the saying goes, i feel it's important to "know your enemy".. i realize it's very convenient to think of the governing body as being "evil" when we consider that they are ultimately responsible for all the damaging jw teachings and beliefs.
Also....what would you call people that go to great efforts to make millions go to people's doors teaching them things they either know to be wrong or in the very least, are not sure if they RIGHT..... but send them out anyway........with the result being people die, get sick and are damaged????

Very eloquent. Its THE question I ask myself daily. I can't wrap my head around it.....I've known rank and file JW's that were smarter on matters of the Bible......so I see the blatant ignorance............I just can discern if these guys are also blatantly evil.
Have they looked at the past? The failed doctrines? BLOOD; and those that have died? Did they make the changes in recognition of being wrong?
Then there is the latest power push to honor DFing, to stay away from Apostates, etc. How can they NOT KNOW what they've done??

i had a lot of people leave my side three years ago; because some of my "phony homies" began to listen to my ex-finance spreading rumors about me and my family.
so to make a long story short i lost a lot of "friends" from my old way of life, but i picked up some true homies , and reconnected with a true homie in the long run.. i just had to ask that question because some of us were popular while we were in or we weren't the social butterflies.

always taking the gorup out in service, always having parts on the platform etc etc.
almost 5 years ago, i simply did not show up anymore.
