please don't take this the wrong way if your battling weight problems, that's not what this thread is meant to talk about.

i am asking this question because jehovah's witnesses claim they have "the best way of life", "god's blessing", "the truth" and are trying to change the habits of healthy people by turning them in to their own makings.

i watched people who were great athletes turn all their muscle in to fat because we would get a elder or circuit overseer make remarks they were spending too much time "working out" and "bodily training is beneficial for little".

This all leads to one conclusion:

Gone are the days of 'billions of hours spent at neighbors doors".............replaced with "our website got 50 trillion hits!"

Cue the typical publisher......"Wow, Jehovah is blessing this work"

YES .....it is a true blessing that the Creator of all things........including the human brain...........has now discovered the Internet!!!!

This is evidentally proof that Jehovah is speeding things up in his own time.

yesterday i drove to mcdonalds and noticed that the nearby kingdom hall had the new blue jw.org logo.. the rebranding has started here in holland.. g.. .

Just watch.............this is going to be one of those moves they deeply regret.............then they backpedal and bury as quickly as possible.

This strategy has so many holes it's swiss cheese.

Kind of reminds me of a few others:

Freaking out a Jehovah's Witness

as you know, my husband has physically left the witnesses.

he nevertheless clings to many of the beliefs like a protective cloak, and every once in a while i trigger a dissonant episode where my reality clashes with his.

recently he listened in on my work research, a video of a futurist describing the a potential "disruptive change" event in the next fifteen years, as our culture shifts to autonomic (driverless) vehicles.

I used to give those public talks......and it's more like the first 20 minutes. After that, everyone is zoned out and reaching for their Prozac.

I can't imagine why someone not 'born in' would enjoy a public talk..........they are all about two things:

The world is TERRIBLE

Every other religion is TERRIBLE

Jesus never once mentioned a paradise earth where most of mankind would reside.

God watches his children tortured for 'his name'....while an imperfect parent would never dream of doing the same under any circumstance.

How is it JW's quote Psalms 146:3 all the time......and yet tacitly obey 7 old guys in NY?

Why bother with field service if everyone that dies this side of Armageddon is in? Wouldn't it be easier to count time as a serial killer? You're guaranteeing people's passage to paradise
