though i may, on more than a few occasions, have questioned whether or not i wanted to be one of jehovahs witnesses and i may at some point decide that i dont, i can assure you that i would never contact you again.

it is really unfortunate that you felt the need to post our email exchanges on jw.com because to be honest with you, i actually thought that you may have been sincerely interested in me as a person.

I am very sorry I have not answered to all your posts.

I am a single mother who was kicked around in the Truth.

I am not Black but I am Latin and there fore treated the same in Anglo congs. They do not understand me and Yes, (As you have said) elders wives think you'er after their man.

Single Mothers and single sisters in general of all races are lonely inThe Truth and treated like dirt.

Since I wasnt grateful enough to always respond to your posts(Sorry) you wouldnt know this but I have read your posts to family. I have shared your posts with friends. I have sometimes read and re-read them.

I understand the break as you left an Org that beat you down. Outside the Org there are people who will beat you down also. Everyone needs a holiday and so you should take one.

Just please come back now and again. Put on your Goalies mask (Hockey) and start us another thought provoking thread.

I can see this sisters point in not wanting her e-mail used. Maybe you should have asked. Who knows? If it helps her at all I read that post to my mother and daughters and it is saved for future reference on favorites.

If it helps you at all based on her angry e-mail She is still questioning the Truth and that is good. She is not blind and that in part is because of you.

Not everyone thanked Jesus. Still many benefited from His words.

crisis of conscience

i am not a jw but a very close friend of mine is.we are so close that i have told her that i want to marry her ( if she leaves the org).

i have researched jw's quite a bit in recent months and have realized this book is probably my only chance at reaching her ( i also have isocf ).

she has reluctantly agreed to read them because she trust's me.

If her Non-JW sister, will be there for her, as well as you. If they will be her friends and true family as I have said before.PLEASE, tell her everything FACTUAL and easily provable you can. Little by little.

If you need help in wording e-mail me and I will help you.

The JW life is THE WORST thing for a woman. It can only be good for her id she becomes and Elders wife. Even then most elders wives become selfish out for themselves people. So Id say that is a worse fate then her leaving NOW. As you have said she has her WHOLE life ahead of her. This life will be ruined for her if she remains JW.

She may feel odd not having the preaching work anymore.

If she is worried of serving God try to find an outlet for her.

For instance even before I was a JW (I am an odd bird) I would share the bible with people and what I knew of it. She can do this anytime she is moved to.

Last night there was a young woman walking home late at night. I saw her and picked her up. As I was in Mommy mode I scolded her a bit about being such a young girl out at night walking in the cold winter air.

She told me her story and how her car broke down in the morning. She had gotten a ride from her sister to work but, had no ride home. I didnt get lengthy or preachy but, I let her know that God had provided for her. Short simple and sweet.

So what if I didnt have an Org to direct her too! God is there right in front of you always.

As much as it is nice to have a place to go it is not always necessary.

Maybe the 2 of you could find a place to worship God together.

I hope you are successful in helping your love.

Please, believe me my life was wasted as a JW.

Although, I believe a person can have knew beginnings at any age.

I would have liked to been aloud to be a young confident successful in life and love young woman.

Instead because of doctrine I was forced to remain in an abusive marriage, Trapped from the World. Isolated from real life and unable to breath. My children have suffered greatly and I times I was helplessly forced to watch.

Keep us posted on your progress.

I for one will be praying for you both.

I have to say Macky 1st, that I hope you are realy doing this for her. If she was brought up as a JW she will loose everything in her life. Not only friends but, FAMILY. Mother, father,...etc.

Now if she wasn't raised in"The Truth"tm Then PLEASE, PLEASE ,PLEASE for God sake no matter what your motvies do this thing!!

I so wish someone had shown me The Truth of The Troof when I was a young woman! The pain and suffering I went through and my youth lost for lies.

I have worldly fam and we go over all the differances it would have made for me to not be a JW.My life would have been so much better and The Quailty of life too!

So anyway....think it over and if it really will help her more...by goly...Go For It!

I have friends in Italia and I wish they could know the truth about The Truth.

But, I think as you have pointed out their command of the English language is not so good. This is not a bad thing as English is an ugly crass language .....Italiano e spagnolo sia piu bello!

I have figured it will happen for the WTBS as it says in proverbs, what you do in secret will be shouted from the roof tops

I wish it was more a public cry but for now the Internet seems to be the biggest place to get information about The Borg.

I am glad our new friend you have been outspoken of all you have learned about The WTBS but, please for your Mother be more clever about it. If you were to get disfellowshipped she would have to be without you. They would tell her to no longer speak with you or see you. No longer could you live in her home. I think love for your Mother should be stronger Then Hatred for This Cult.

That is another thing J.J. you have written, But my bitter hatred for those kind of people the congregations are still stuffed up.

Most Gente Italiana are loving dear sweet people. I can see in your post you are like this Please do not let this hate you feel be like a cancer. The WTBS will not fall over night. The more you wait and wait hating them all the while the worse it will be for you.

Your mother and any friends you have in The Truth need you. Most importantly you need who you truly are not the person you will become because of your hatred for Watchtower Lies.

Be Patient it will happen, they will fall. Use more kind words when telling WT Lies. Do research and try to use the bible more and plant seeds in peoples minds that grow. That is how most of us (Who were not born JW) became a Jehovahs Witness. Each study was slow and seeds of deceit were planted and allowed to grow in their crafty way. So slowly and carefully you must do the same.

i just returned from some nice r@r in cancun mexico.

while i was their i had some time to go downtown to their municipal offices, and confront one of their officials face to face on whether the jehovahs witnesses were ever banned in their country.having read crisis of concsience , i have always been interested in finding out the truth of this matter for myself.

whether they were actually under a ban, or was it the watchtowers way of holding on to their real estate.

I think this would disturb a Dub if you could get them to THINK.

Thats the problem here really is getting their minds not to shut down the minute you sound negative about the Org.

See Daniel prayed in public even when there was a ban. Man did not come before Jehovah.

Now here we have a case where they could have publicly prayed with no repercussions other then not owning property.

The Org STOLE a large part of worship from them over land rights! Thats HUGE! It is purely Satanic!

The Mexican Government had no problems with them publicly praying or singing. Just so long as they did not own the buildings they worshipped in.

The WTBS went against the Almighty Himself in directing The Flock to abstain from public demonstration of their worship to Him

If only a Jdub didnt get that glassy eyed nobodies home look when you start informing them.

That is the conundrum.

Abusive JW Elder to be released from jail...

...in 6 months for good behavior.. this man, james barratt of rugby england was put in prision last summer for molesting boys, including one of my relatives.

the fact that he is only going to spend a year in jail sickens me.

not being familiar with the british court system, i need to ask the board: is there a parole hearing like in the us?

Its not the Pedophile that is special in himself but, the forgiveness.

Every Jdub wants to see even the worst sinner repent and turn away from his sinful past.

Repentant sinners of the worst crimes are like living testaments to Jehovahs power and mercy.

The original Christian congs came from societies that even encouraged adult men to partake in marriage with young boys.

When my ex-husband confessed to the elders something he did with our son they didnt even looked shocked. They went straight to the bible pointed out sins the original Christian cong did. They were quite debouched back then!

They showed him how he could change also and sent us on our way instructing me all the time that divorce does not bring happiness.

Although, this is true ,divorce can sometimes bring safety.or at least make things safer.

No they did not report him to child services but, I did. I reported him just as the year before I had reported this other brother.

Thing with my ex is he was a publisher and not baptized so he could not be dissed.

I will say that these elders ,although not reporting him or encouraging me to report him did put limitations on him.

They asked him to no longer speak in Jehovahs name till he was better and he had to ask one of them to use the bathroom at all meetings. He was not aloud to comment and t hey also wanted him to enter right after the 1 st song and leave right after the concluding prayer.

So at least they did that much to protect the cong.

I didnt run around with a billboard about him but, I did tell people and you know the JW gossip line. It wasn't long till most of our circut knew.

Child protection services did nothing because he cooperated all the way. He went to these group meetings for sex offenders. Truthfully those meetings made him worse. That was one time I could see the bad associations spoil useful habits scripture in action!

He really needed one on one therapy over a lengthy period of time before being introduced to a club of offenders.

Anyway, even all the Jdubs that know about him and all he did love him!

They shake his hand and ask when hes coming back.

Most just want to see Jehovahs power at work in peoples lives.

I just dont understand why they cant support the victims too.

I knew of some cases while I was a Jdub and I was there for the victims 100%.

Thats why I called Protective Services on a Bro one year.

Its just so unbalanced.how they take sides instead of being there for both.

This is Spiritual Abuse of the worst kind.

all the posts i have read and digested from the board leave myself feeling perplexed,moved with pity and still wanting something more ,both myself and wife are hungry people as regards the truth,i recall that the ancient cristians used to hide away from the roman army within the catcoombs , they sought safety security & solace ,i feel that this site has given evryone the same provision,as the early christians had, yet some just brouse the experiences within , and move on without contributing therfore most of the commited people here still leave ourselves exposed as we willingly post our experiences on the board ,looking into the heart and soul of your fellow man is indeed a privelage,given the freedom by the person posting,.

there still seems to be something missing within some postings, initialy you want revenge for all the hurt and harm one suffers at the hands of the borg ,then you feel the need to search for truth ,as the internet opens up different ways for the truth to be revealed,which opens up more discussions and thoughts ,to everyone.

my main point in life now is to know that i am not lost, that i dont need man to direct myself to god ,the only thing i need to keep in front of myself is that ,if armageddon does come it doesnot really matter,due to the fact that,i have come to the knowledge of freedom that no matter what i do ime still going to die wether i do much or little,the truth will be revealed either at my death or perhapps later ,you cant buy gods favour,most people want to be saved or be part of the great crowd,me ime happy just living for to/day, what transpires from here who knows, .

Sorry it took so long to reply. I was bit under the weather so I wasnt on line too much.

Plato inspired my nick and Utopia is an idealistic Paradise Society.

Since that seems out of reach at this time Id say we all could now and again use a little Utopian_Rain_shower in our lives. Raindrops sounded better then shower so.wha-la! The birth of my new Alter ego.
