  What's the funniest gag / stunt you saw 'in service'?

  i've heard of plenty of teenagers knock-n-running but that's rather on the dull side.

  so what's the funniest bit of slapschtick you've seen or heard of witnesess pulling while getting in the time quota?

  A pioneer sister that I was with in field service would stomp her feet real hard as we were leaving someones steps, after the third time, I asked her what she was doing, She quoted Matthew 10:14, "...anyone one does not take you in or listen to your words, on going.......shake the dust off your feet."

  Dub cars unattended

  it's the district assembly for those in my congregation today.

  this morning i saw about 20 dub cars parked in a public parking lot.

  they left their cars there and took the bus to go to an assembly.. .

  I have never been to one, but plan to in less than a month.

  My husband (never a JW) ask me this same question, I told him I didn't know but that I had heard or

  as gumby said : when people here leave the dubs they loose their minds, turn to drugs and alcohol, indulge in orgys(orgies?),

  So i promised him if that happens we can just excuse ourselves and leave. He said "lets not be hasty, we could just hang around to be polite,"

  How far does the shunning go for you, by your JW parents or children?

  my dad is a jw, trying to reach out to be an elder again......also pioneering.

  i saw my cousin , his nephew , the other nite at the dance club......i told him i havent seen my dad, nor heard from him in almost 2 years.

  he said he saw him a while back but that he heard he moved.. last time i talked to my dad, it was over me not going to the circuit assembly he was trying to get me to go to.

  JW Grandparents trying to steal my babies (happy ending)

  i just wanted to let you know that we recieved the judgment today and we won!!!!!

  i will get my babies back this sunday.

  i have just had a huge load taken off my shoulders.

  Later all the Elders there were removed and new ones sent to replace them. My friend soon moved away.

  Seems like a whole lot of moving going on. Maybe thats why we moved so many times growing up.

  This also reminds me my dad once told me that I should keep trying different congregations until I found one that fit my personality. I told him I would not drive several congregtions away to sit with people that I didn't even know...... But I will drive 12 hours to meet with apostates in Green Bay. Just kidding about the last part. I didn't really say anything about Green Bay.

  well, this isn't quite a delurk, since i've made several posts already.

  but i figured it was worth introducing myself anyway.. i'm 21 years old, and was raised a dub.

  had very loyal and active dub parents... there was just no question growing up that i was going to pioneer, reach out for privileges, etc.

  My mom told me that my dad was removed from his elder position because of me.....or rather because of what I did.

  But, It's all good...he got his position back, and has been dutifully shunning me.
