More than once I have taken days to spend at my childens school. Once I can see for myself what is happening, I have to power to do something about it.

The last time was when my son was in highschool. It wasn't my son with the problem, it was the teacher. I hope she was on her best behavior that day, cause I would have hated to see her on a bad day. I did not finish out the class that day.....and I took my son out, and we went to the office to start procedures to have him out of her class. I told the principal that I couldnt' spend an entire day in her class and I understand why my son couldn't.

~ Positive thoughts, vibes, prayers this morning for my job interview ~

i am going to have an interview for a chirpractor's assistant's job this morning.

i was raised in a family of chiropractors and this looks like a good fit for me.

please send out the prayers and thoughts from now through the interview at 8:30 am and through out the day in the minds of the interviewers.

playing along with the disfellowshipped game

my son has come to stay with me for the summer, and this morning i got a phone call which showed on the caller id as my son's grandparents (my jw ex's parents who are also jw).

i assumed it was my ex calling from their house and answered handing the phone to my son.

that's when i heard his grandma's voice on the phone.

Here's how I "play/don't play" along with the disfellowshipping game.

When the JW's come to my door...which is few and far between, only two different sisters in the last 10 years, I don't tell them I'd df'd and pretend to be interested, and when they come back I ask questions, and when they come back I ask questions about their answers, and the game continues and they quit coming.

I have never gone trick-or-treating with my kids or grandkids for the same reason. I can hand out candy at the door...and I've been to costume party's so it not the Halloween aspect, it's the door to door thing.

I have the same anxiety feeling, driving by a KH. Especially when i see three or four cars...and one car is off by it's self, ...I always feel like I know there is a JC meeting going on.

true story:

my grandmother died in front of her tv, it was JW's that found her, coming around for a return visit.

They could see her sitting in the chair though a window.....and knew something was wrong.

Who do you think they called? the police, emergency numbers? My grandmother's df'd daughter that lived a few miles away? My grandmother's fell way g-daugher that just lived a few miles away?

No...they called my mother who lived 2000 miles away, because my mom was an active JW. My mom had to call from KY her df'd sister, to notify her. My mom didn't go to CA for the furneral.

this is what my spouse said after i mentioned issues i have seen on here...the bs being combined, the bethelites being reassigned, the possible termination of co's, etc... she said if that i didn't want anything to do with religion that i shouldn't even be on this site looking into issues such as these.

it has made me to wonder if she isn't right.

am i just trying to reason with myself or am i seeking to avenge myself against the wbts?

I'm not interested in any religion, I'm more interested in the people...their stories and experiences.

Since so many here, has simular backgrounds as I have, I of course find them even more interesting.

And I'm still waiting to find someone on here that went to the same KH's I did. do you think I'm the only one that escaped?
