A stress reaction I have is ...I get light headed, start to sweat..then I pass out.
My husband says I grind my teeth at night.

i suppose mine is not uncommon (see below) but i have noticed it again of late and cannot deny the connection to excessively stressful events in my life.
i involuntarily keep my jaw clinched and within a day or so i get a piercing pain in my jaw up by my ear.
anyone have a cure for this?

about six months ago i setup a twitter account.
i posted a few tweets here and there and then got bored of it and stopped.. dispite the fact that i never tweet anything, every few days i get an email notice stating that another person has started following me.. why?
can anyone think of any reason why people would want to follow someone wo never tweets?.
I did the same thing. And I also got people following. I don't know them either.
Did you delete them, or will you allow them to continue to follow? I didn't bother deleting them, since I don't tweet anyway.
On a side note...I do follow my granddaughter that set up a twitter account called: Thatsso7thgrade ... she's pretty funny and in the 7th grade.
I also follow my shitmydadsays. He's funny too.

nothing like some good ol-fashioned bs to get someone's attention.
yup... i got my regular flu shot today (not h1n1).
i also got a pneumonia shot.
the new search engine works
Anway...I already knew there was no way in hell I was getting the this new flu shot, nor have I EVER gotten a flu shot. My husband used to always get the flu shot until I noticed he got the flu every time he got the flu shot. The doctor insisted it was he already was sick, or it was a different strain of the flu. When I talked my husband into not getting the flu shot, he hasn't had the flu since.
Coincidence?..I don't know.
I also wonder how many people have gotten sick with the H1N1 flu that did get the shot? and how many of those have died?
Those of you that got the shot, did you encourage everyone in your family to get the shot, including your children?
And those that didn't get the shot for themselves, did you get your children the flu shot?

i dont know if this has been talked about before but i've seen it recently mentioned so i thought i'd ask and get the good and bad dirt.. first, who was the nut who thought this up?
8 days????
are you kidding me?
Lisa, do you remember the first drama at Candlestick? We couldn't make out what they were saying due to the echo. We sat in the farthest seats to be in the shade, but when night came we froze our butts off. Remember how the sessions would go into the night and you'd be covered with a blanket? I'll never forget the drama in the center of the field with the lights on. The costumes were pretty cool and we to this day mock the exaggerated motions of thier arms. "It was this way and it was that way". Funny how the good memories are of all the incidental stuff and NOT the spiritual food. W.Once
oooo...I wonder which Drama that was.... I was in a Drama at Candlestick Park. I love the costume and headcovering i got to wear. I can't remember what the drama was about, but I remember running back and forth and waving ours hands, or maybe shaking our fists. I wish my parents still talked to me. I'd post pictures...but they have them all.

I remember standing at the long tables to eat a hot lunch. The tables had white tablecloths on the tables and I was too short to reach the table top to eat. This would have been 1964-1968 or so. It was at Candlestick Park in CA.

in my 4 years of fading i only had a couple of calls and visits.
does that make me lucky?
i am now being hassled to "chat" to an elder via my mobile.. .
My wife goes to every meeting with our kids. I live less than 1/4 mile from the KH.
Guess some people are just lucky!
ummm...you get to be lucky, but your kids don't. You're a mean dad.

so my mom came down for a visit a few weekends ago, since i knew nothing about it till she got in town, i opted out on seeing her her.. she did not leave a very good lasting impression on my daughter and my grand daughter would not have anything to do with her (babies have such great intuition).
my mom has not been preaching much to my daughter, but left her quite a library when she left town.. .
yesterday she calls my daughter and grills her about why i don't go to meetings anymore, she is upset that i influenced her to get in the truth(which is not really true) and then give her a book to read (coc) saying bad things about the organization.. my daughter told my mom there were allot of coverups in the congo and older men doing inappropriate things with younger girls(i have not told many things on this board about my congo) my mom said that i did not love jehovah enough to let that bother me enough to keep me from going to the meetings.
I can read down to my post...then hintoflime's post..but I can't read anything after that even though I know several have posted since. I couldn't get down far enough to get to the posting box, I had to hit the reply button at the top of the page.
I'm just hoping that this will allow me to read the other posts after mind.
sorry for the interuption..please carry on.

I'm intrigued over the maiden name thing. Wonder what that is all about? Maybe your mom has a secret she hasn't told.

so, hubby and i actually went to a mtg this week.
during the bookstudy, an elder asked who would benefit from something scripturally.
i actually raised my hand and said, "anyone who applies it"... he said, "that's true, but more specifically"... then, of course somebody raised there hand and said "jws".... what an a$$.... i'm on facebook and have befriended some jws.
Are you kidding, LIsa? I heard that crap in service more times than I can remember... sickening.
I heard this in fs...but I didn't think they would say it on facebook..or to people's faces.
