So active means going to meetings and round the doors but not necessarily believing it?
Are these active non-believers the people that just stay because they don't want to lose friends and/or family?

Maybe I need to re-ask the question but first I need some definitions please.
I assumed there were simply active, meaning someone that believes it all and goes to KH, and non-active, meaning an ex-jw.
Also, what is "conscious class"?
I assumed there wouldn't be any active (by my previous definition) jws on this site at all. Is that wrong? If there is some, are they here covertly?
I'd like to have a one-on-one online debate with an active JW. It doesn't have to be private.
Anyone have any suggestions how I might arrange this?
then wtf are they?.
why don't they like that term?.
Well as Adam was created on "day" 6 of 7 and died AFTER the 7 creation days at an age of 930, I guess each day can be no more than about 930 years long. Hmmmm
i was told by a jw that the linguists have drawn lines on the map between languages with common words and the lines intersect at a single point, which they claim must be where the tower of babel was.
obviously, this doesn't work mathematically but i'd be interested to see the article if anyone knows where to locate it.. thanks.
Thanks Chris
I did ask for the article but he was unable to locate it at the time ;-)
I explained that the premise implies all migrations from the tower went in straight lines right up until today and the response was 'well, maybe the lines are symbolic', LOL!
Still interested to see the article if it exists...

what is the jw's explanation for how all the animals got to australia after the flood?.
they bang on about carbon dating being flawed, using the usual creationist mis-information and lies but are they even aware of all the other dating methods and the fact that multiple independent methods are used and results only taken as true when they agree?.

so i gather most of the people on this forum are ex-jws who have seen the error of their ways.. good for you guys.. would that put you in the unique position of knowing exactly how to make a current jw have doubts.. if so, how might that be?.
i've tried science, philosophy, even simple logic and pointing out the quote mining but to no avail.. i'm not even saying there isn't a god, just that their version of the story blatantly contradicts emperical science in so many ways..

does anyone happen to know what the jws have to say about this?.
i know apologists usually have a convoluted answer for everything but i just can't think how they could possibly defend this.
so, each 'day' of creation is 7000 years long, adam was created on the 6th 'day', god rested on the 7th 'day', adam then dies at an age of something like 930 years!!.

Have I missed something? I assume they have a workaround and I'd be interested to hear what it is.
Thanks
