Couldn't stop sneezing until I researched the watchtower cd and found an Awake! article on how to stop sneezing. Praise the WTS I finally stopped sneezing!

she was a child.
how can you expect a child to make such a decision?.

Anyone Successfully Quit Smoking Using Chantix?
by PublishingCult ini have been on chantix for three days now.
tomorrow is quit day, and i am keeping my fingers crossed.. anyone here quit successfully using chantix?.

I have a client who quit smoking successfully with Chantix. She got to the point where she was smoking one cigarette, and not really enjoying it. She just stopped. If you're not having bad side affects, its probably working for you. Good luck! It's wonderful you're stopping smoking! My boyfriend stopped cold turkey for a couple of months, then went back when we had to put our dog down. Don't give up, keep trying!

My Grandma's dying...I found out by way of an impersonal text message.
by petitebrunette inyesterday at work i received a text message from my sister that my 91 yr old grandmother is unconscious, her organs are shutting down, and they're just keeping her comfortable.
she said that they moved her to a group home, and gave me the address.
i thanked her for letting me know.

Thank you! I'm afraid if I attended a funeral I'd just burst into tears, and imagine how'd they run with that! "She's so unhappy!" etc...

Did You Tend To Question The Organization Or Did You Just WANT To Believe?
by minimus ini know some who always questioned the elders, the society, and others because they were typically skeptical.. there are those who just seemed to want to believe whatever they were told.. i was more a skeptic, during my last decade.. .

I never questioned, I always knew it was "the truth". When I stopped going. after I separated from my husband, I dated and did all kinds of "bad" things. So I just thought I'd be destroyed at Armageddon. When I was DF'd, I started looking on the internet for things I was always too terrified to search. And lo and behold, after reading Ray Franz's books, I wasn't in "the truth". Also, missed the posts on how to fade the right way! But now I'm free...

@ Mamalove- I'm so sorry to hear about your Grandpa and Aunt, I hope they'll be ok. That response is exactly what I said to my sister. I waited over an hour trying to think of what I should say. Maybe she thought I was being cold, so much is read into a text or email. That's why a phone call is so much better. I'm still being judged on my emails from last yr when I was being df'd. No one called to talk to me, and say goodbye. My mom was just too upset. I can just picture the family talking about who would contact me. They probably called my Uncle at Bethel about what would be the "right" thing to do. So many rules, no acting on what is actually loving.

Homeschooling and JW children
by Pams girl inhow many jw kids are homeschooled where you are?
its not very common here in the borough where i live.
i just found out on the grapevine that a girl i know is taking her kids out of our very good primary school because she feels the other children are having such a bad influence on her kids.

Homeschooling is very common where I live. The sad thing is that the children are so socially backward and actually kinda weird. They will have major problems being liked in the workplace. I agree with Mr. Falcon, some are super into it, and some take every activity in their daily lives and turn it into schoolwork.
