I miss ....
Sex on the beach.
Sex in the camper.
Sex at the restaurant
Sex at the B&B.
Sex at my house.
Sex at someone else's house.
Sex.
Hmmm ... There seems to be a pattern here.
That's pretty much it.
i miss listening and dancing to live music on a weekend night.. i miss going into a crowded mall store to window shop.. i miss going out into public and not having to wear a mask.. i miss seeing people freely mingle on a busy street or sidewalk.. what a difference a year makes!.

thanks petra and atlantis for sending the latest letter regarding the watchtowers plan for a worldwide campaign in november this year.
i am wondering what they are planning to achieve from this campaign, particularly their focus on sending the watchtower 2020 no.
2, titled "what is god's kingdom" to politicians, governments (and tribal leaders) around the world.. it would appear that this is their answer to governments who have put them in the spot light for their bad policies, particularly their handling of child abuse.
Lies, excites the base, makes some inactive wonder if "this is it" and they go back, it will accomplish for a short term the intended result to cause buzz and renewal for the flock.
It will be interesting to see if it has a negative effect on the government entities it is targeted at for reasons already mentioned. If there is any kind of uproar, no matter how slight, just more fuel to excite the flock.
14 years ago, this one had me thinking things will probably wrap up soon, I was out in service with an elder that was retiring at 62 years so he could pioneer full time again. I asked him why he didn't wait until 65 so he could get a larger Social Security check. He said this system would probably not last that long. HAHAHA! I think about that every time I see his wife selling junk on Facebook. Sad.
the final talk of the saturday afternoon online convention is given by lett, sporting a creepy looking combover, which for some reason, looks creepier than normal.
he talks about how those resurrected will need to come into line with a new moral code otherwise they will be destroyed.
he uses an example of gay people having to turn away from their inclinations even though they may feel that they are perfectly acceptable.. this demonstrates that the gb feel that being gay is a taught behaviour rather than an imperfect unnatural desire, otherwise they would be growing out of that desire as they develop towards perfection, as they teach.
My dad died recently. After nearly ten minutes he was resurrected by doctors. He still looks the same, health is the same. I guess his sin remains.

In thought that death was the payment to offset sin. Penalty paid with death, sin gone, resurrection a free gift because of Jesus sacrifice. Why would one be resurrected as imperfect, sinful? Makes no sense.
and this isn't a cult?
just saw my wife put on her name tag for the zoom assembly.... what the what?
i thought these things werent even live.
She's still in, if you were too, you'd possibly be sitting right next to her with your name tag on. It's a cult, yes, but you only see that now that you're on the outside looking in. She hasn't changed, you have, and that makes it difficult for both of you. As you know, I'm in a similar boat. I went home today and found my wife sitting at the kitchen table, watching the convention, taking notes. WTF?! You got your mind out, she hasn't, and she feels alone. She lost her spiritual head. She feels alone. If she doesn't wake up, she just goes deeper. She believes the end will come at any time. She may never wake up from it and you might not ever be able to reconcile that. It's a difficult path for both of you. No easy answers.
there is apparently an interview being circulated among jw.
me and my pimi wife got it several times.
its from some kind of tv station in us.
JW's don't call with the intention of converting people? ... I remember in my younger years as a JW, I made that comment at the door, back in the car, the used to be elder (stepped down, probably the most reasonable man I knew in that congregation) corrected me and said that it was our purpose. Because so few, if any, respond in the door to door work, perhaps the mentality is not converting, but putting on notice ... You got your warning, you can die at Armageddon and I won't be blood guilty.
dear brothers, july 27, 2020. in 1919, the president of the watchtower society made a bold prediction, “millions now living will never die”.
that quotation was constantly repeated by the organization till the year 2000 when they realized that everyone in attendance at that assembly, who listened to j.r. rutherford repeat those words, are dead.. that teaching has guided my life.
statements were repeatedly made at assemblies, conventions and in print that there was no career in “this system of things” so you don’t need a job with benefits or retirement, your fulltime job is to “preach the good news”!
Great letter! Congratulations and best wishes on your endeavor.
I, so far, chose not to disassociate. I still have one daughter that is a believer and we still have a relationship. I left 9 years ago and had only one attempt early on with an offer to meet during a CO visit, I turned it down. I have another daughter that is baptized and married to a third generation JW, they have also faded. Sometimes I'm tempted to DA just so some JWs would ignore me.
so what the heck are they brainwashing today in the meeting or what ever.
she is in full on cult mode talking about the end of the world.
she asked me to listen to a couple of talks and i respectfully declined.
Mine too, all dressed up watching the convention to be followed by a zoom meeting. 🙄
so i just saw on fb a letter going out to jw's in southern california to keep quiet if they get any food donations from the elders.
the jw's aren't giving this food out of the kindness of their hearts, they are getting it from the government and pretending they are doing it themselves.
gah!
there is a surge going on of people buying guns, especially first time buyers.
with talk of police defunding and rioting in the neighborhoods, some people want to protect themselves.. do you support owning and using a gun if needed?.
It’s funny that you’re not hearing crazy anti gun activists saying we need to get rid of guns! Where are all these loudmouths? Not a peep lately. Hmmmm
I don't own guns. I went deer hunting a few times as a teen, never shot anything, I have thought of acquiring some but never really felt compelled. I probably would be considered left of center, not far left in my opinion, I also have conservative values, maybe that makes me more in the center. I think the "loudmouths" are on the extreme sides both right and left.
I'm for responsible gun ownership, a well regulated malitia.
