  With so many people unable to understand the difference between talk and action it's no wonder why 40% of the U.S. still supports Obama. I don't really care if someone says they hate me or what I stand for... I only care what they do, if they attack me over it..well they are getting fight.

  I fail to see how Dr. Laura's opinion "harms" people. I hate unleashed pitbulls and would like to shoot them, should I be jailed for abusing animals?

  Something is up in my world. I asked my family about FB a year ago and it was like ohh noo never. Now all of them are jumping on in the last month and even connecting with other faders... Weird.

  what's a really good movie you'd recommend that most people probably haven't seen?.

  my personal recommendation: synecdoche, new york.

  it's one of those movies that words fail utterly to capture--which really is the hallmark of a good movie, i suppose.

  Anyone into martial arts?

  there are so many disciplines.

  judo, tae qwan do, jujitsu.

  i have never tried any but heard about a couple of new ones that sound practical for self defense.

  I am familiar with most nothing beats the confidence and quickness that comes from boxing 3 or 4 times a week. If you are intersted in self defense I'd find an MMA gym that has emphasis on "stand up" game. Boxing, kicking, and take downs would be the focus. Tradional martial arts is good for mental sharpness and discipline but each form has it's weakness in a real life situation. MMA will just plain teach you to fight.

  The war on drugs employs too many politicians, cops, prison builders, parole and probation officers and brings in too much money in fines and penalties not to mention all the women. They will never end this war.
