  but our situation is very difficult and quite high profile.... i was raised as a jw and my mother was very strict and abusive.

  i got baptized at age 14.. my mother actually called on my (present) husband's mom in service.

  she was on the initial call resulting in his mom coming in the truth and him being raised in it from about age 8 or 9.. despite a very abusive step-father, he followed his mom's lead and came into the truth.

  After reading everything this stupid "religion" has put you, your husband, your family through, why would you want to go back? Your need for social acceptance in the cult that you were raised in is understandable. It is time you grow up and realize you don't need other peoples approval not even your husbands to be happy. Please consider getting some professional help yourself and be supportive of your husband. You should be willing to fight a pitbull with AIDS before subjecting your baby to this organization. I hope your husband doesn't go back.

  As somone raised JW like you, I understand your emotional dependence and need to be validated. But it's time we all grow up. Trust me I struggle with this too sometimes.

  Cam is certainly talented but these guys are College players and are not part of a farm system like Baseball. If they want to get paid they should go play semi-pro or Europe League.

  well i have learned that it was very true.

  i do not want to post the story because i do not want to totally give myself away and the story dose not say he was a jw only that he attacked children and had a police standoff.

  Reading this made me start thinking of all the crazy people I met courtsey of the KH as a kid. There really were more than the fair share there. There were some seriously ill people in and hanging around every congo I remember as a kid.

  I read about this in the Chronicle yesterday. A blogger (unpaid reporter) had sent a complaint and Amazon defended this till it became a big story. I looked at the book (the listing) it self. If it was written as a legal guide to defending "allegations" I would not oppose even if it was used by pedophiles but it is obviously promoting child-adult "love".

  Amazon was stupid for defending it as a biz decision and a moral one.

  If I know how to build a bomb it doesn't mean I should find a terrorist an offer instructions and encouragement. I think thats how you end up in Guantanamo.

  I have noticed this... Seems like my family that is still in has been being pushed more. Some have responded by pioneering, talking more to me and others by fading.

  Sad, it's like watching a drowning person refuse to take the weights off and swim.

  I remember a few verses in the NT about "stumbling others". I think this is what was being talked about more so than wearing a short skirt or playing World of Warcraft.
