  the high court has granted a dublin maternity hospital orders allowing it to perform, if required, an emergency blood transfusion to the unborn child of a jehovah's witnesses couple who is at risk of being delivered prematurely.

  today the court heard the child's mother, who is approximately 26 weeks pregnant, presented to the coombe maternity hospital in recent days with a spontaneous premature ruptured membrane.. .

  Remember how the JW's used to indoctrinate us as kids on the blood issue. It was funny when I got older and was dating a social worker. She told me getting a court order for JW kids to have a transfusion is routine and easy.

  this is a sad story about an iraq war vet whom is in critical condition after being hit in the head with a projectile that has yet to be identified.

  how could he have fought for our freedom in iraq if he was denied his first amendment rights here in the us?

  i dont understand why they are coming down so hard on these protests.

  There's video of this on line. Pretty sad. I am from Texas and the Fascist "conservatives" talk all day about founding fathers and the 2nd amendment. As soon as some one that doesn't look like them try and practice the first they flip out like people are humping dead Moose in the street. Sad... Hypocrits.

  1822: mormons founded by joseph smith, who made his appearance with supposed revelations in 1822.. .

  1872: the jehovah's witness church was developed by charles russell.. .

  I think for the sake of argument we can assume Catholic means Roman Catholic like when I land on the moon and say "One small step for man" I mean women too.

  The Millerites, Adventist and JW's are all classified as restorationals. Researching the branches of Christianity helped me realize the JW's were nothing special but just another branch. It helped with the guilt.
