Do You Love The Country You Are In or From?
by minimus inmost people over the generations have taken pride in their heritage, nationality and country they are from.
it’s not uncommon to hear of “proud” italians and proud irish people , as an example.
are you proud of your country and your nationality or do you feel shame or indifference?.

Does Anybody Here Sympathize With The Looters That Cause Destruction?
by minimus ini realize some here are diehard democrats.
whether you are democrat, republican or independent, do you support any of these looters that cause mayhem and destruction for their cause?
i have heard some people sympathize with these law breakers saying they understand why they do what they do and leave it at that.. of course i wonder how they would feel if their own property was burnt or stolen or destroyed..

No, i don't sympathize with them at all, they are stealing & using the situation to do what they want, that's not how you get your point across with situations like George Floyd & others...that gives them an out to break windows & take what they want aside from all the other horrible things they have done such as trashing anything they could get their hands on,& hurting others.. their actions caused alot of grief & hardship to business owners, i sympathize with the ones who were unjustly killed by the police & their families..

So...what do you think about The United States of America?
by minimus ini know the usa is not perfect.
there have always been social issues and differences.
politics has been for many people divisive.

Education vs JW?
by galaxia_moon ini am 15 years old and recently just doubting this whole religion that was introduced to me when i was very small from a very good family friend.
doubt obviously comes with shame and guilt and i hate those feelings because it feels like i'm betraying this whole organization that i grew up in.... anyways, i've been doing research and found that jehovah's witnesses dislike/shun kids who attend colleges & universities that are more than 4 years long?
have you heard of this?

LongHairGal---you couldn't be more correct, without that pension & Social Security, it will be a nightmare, how are you going to survive, depend on others all the time?...you need to plan when your young, get a degree if possible & work as much as you can, the more you put in, the more you will get back in the end...it's really important for your survival & when you're young, you think you have the time, but it catches up to you soon & you don't want to live out your retirement years camping in some back woods....

Apostasy Movie (For those who have forgotten)
by KW13 inthis movie is out there now in the us and im guessing other territories and due to be released tomorrow in the uk in cinema and for streaming.
https://www.curzonartificialeye.com/apostasy/.
i didnt realise until recently the man behind it all shares a mutual friend with myself so im hoping to get to meet him because this film looks like it will do more for ex witnesses who need justification for moving on and for those who don't understand the religion, i think it teaches more than any documentary?.
