Is Paul constantly disagreeing with Christ?

okay i am re reading without wt blinders...... i was noticing that paul appears to contradict christ on several occasions.

now that i recognize that i am still bible ignorant outside of jw understanding i was hoping some of our more knowledgeable posters would address this issue for us bible babies.. thank you.

But compare Galatians with the infamous passage in 1Timothy 2:11-15 where "Paul" insists that "a woman learn in silence with full submission." In fact, Paul does not even permit a woman to speak.

No Paul did not do anything like this. What he was doing here in a long string of text was showing Timothy precisely what to look out for so that Timothy would not appoint such men as Overseers. He did something like this in many of his letters to expose such men, often correcting them on the spot. Also he would quote them so the personal pronoun I does not always mean Paul. Such a false saying would be corrected by not giving such men any authority and in this case he said to Timothy: 3:1 This is a true saying, If a man desire the office of a bishop, he desireth a good work. And then he went on to show what he was really looking for in men of Faith.

Stumper for Jehovah's Witness.....what does Son of God really mean?

a jw kept on asking me why do i think jesus was god when the bible says he is the son of god?

So I broke what does the word son means, in Hebrew.

The real answer is what does the word Son of God mean in context to such Jews? For example we have:

Ge 5:1 This is the book of the generations of Adam. In the day that God created man, in the likeness of God made he him; And we also have: Lu 3:38 Which was the son of Enos, which was the son of Seth, which was the son of Adam, which was the son of God. Now Adam lost this distinction when he sinned. Later Jesus was born as a human like Adam but without sin. So once again the scriptures could say of this human being this: John 1:18 No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him. And during our Lord’s ministry, only this human being could refer to himself as the son of God. Joh 10:36 Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God? And again: Joh 20:31 But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name. So the term son of God also stood for the Messiah to such Jews as explained to us by Jesus himself..

The very first sentence says that the early Christians apostatized. This is called "the great apostasy theory" and is not based in fact. This Great Apostasy did not happen. So, everything else the poster said is irrelevant.

But it did happen and some of the 12 Apostles were part of it long before Catholicism came into being. This is how the whole blood issue came into being. In John's day it was really bad. 1Jo 2:18 Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time. And in all his territory Paul had to battle with this fact even saying: 1 Cor 11:20 When ye come together therefore into one place, this is not to eat the Lord’s supper. 21 For in eating every one taketh before other his own supper: and one is hungry, and another is drunken. 22 What? have ye not houses to eat and to drink in? or despise ye the church of God, and shame them that have not? What shall I say to you? shall I praise you in this? I praise you not. And we all should know that famous command that James gave to Paul when he said: Acts 21:23 Do therefore this that we say to thee: We have four men which have a vow on them; 24 Them take, and purify thyself with them, and be at charges with them, that they may shave their heads: and all may know that those things, whereof they were informed concerning thee, are nothing; but that thou thyself also walkest orderly, and keepest the law. It would only get worse from now on and Christianity still exists in a state of apostasy today.

Judas was present during the passing of the unleavened bread and wine as you show here. This shows that Jesus did not pre-judge Judas as his sin was not yet committed and he still had time to repent. And this was not the first memorial as some think but the Last Passover when such items were demonstrated for us and commanded for use at a future observance. This bickering between the apostles can be shown to have occurred at least four times that evening and not just once. This is why Jesus finally decided to wash their feet and put a stop to it. Now I put this all together in a letter to the WTS back in the late 70's putting the texts side by side and they ignored it. There was much more on this 7 day Passover that I could have included in this letter which is now in my book and web site. This did not matter as they would not listen anyway. All this became a chapter in my book published in1981. Their preference for lying about this matter shows that they did not care about truth. It was much better to destroy your Christianity and the promise of eternal life Christ made for you then to interfere with their claimed authority and position. So what did the Gospel texts really show? That Judas was there and did partake as LtCmd.Lore shows us here. John who does not even bother to describe this event because it was adequately covered already simply introduces the meal and jumps to the end of it where their feet were washed to stop this discussion. But their attitude and bickering does reveal why Judas acted the way he did in an attempt to speed up the promised kingdom so that he could share in such authority they were all claiming for themselves. Now what about the rest of this week’s events and our Lord’s imprisonment during six days of this Passover? The WTS shows us that they know nothing at all about them since they do not understand scriptures and support erroneous secular views about them instead.

You are talking about something else. They would be considered people of the Nations that will also have an opportunity to wash their robes in the blood of Christ and learn the truth. They however do not have the assurances that our Lord's disciples that partake of Him have. Such people only had to be decent human beings and did not even have to know scripture or be a follower of Him.

No it wasn’t. Jesus taught Jews in the synagogue that this was now an absolute truth: John 6:53 Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you. 54 Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day. 55 For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed. 56 He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him.57 As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth me, even he shall live by me. 58 This is that bread which came down from heaven: not as your fathers did eat manna, and are dead: he that eateth of this bread shall live for ever. 59 These things said he in the synagogue, as he taught in Capernaum.

So I believe that both Jesus and Paul were in agreement on this teaching. It is the WTS that teaches a fraud when they twist this truth to prevent Watchtower witnesses from partaking and thus keep themselves in authority over their witnesses

Your comments on this Memorial Bible reference (1 Cor. 11:26)

i was told that i have an earthly hope.

You should eat and drink as our Lord commanded. Because if you do not another scripture will get in your way which says: Mt 10:33 But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven. Where does that put you? Thrown out and on the outside with the rest of the Nations when our Lord comes to inspect his disciples. Now how did all this come about? Simple! The WTS simply does not understand scripture. For all the tons of pulp they produce, very little of it turns out to be truthful. They corrupt what happened in the Corinthian congregation where some abused this observance. His intended discipline and attention to their disgraceful actions was an attempt to correct them but they made it into a false doctrine to dominate and control you. In this they simply do not understand the complexity of Paul's writings and misapply what he meant. Then they teach that some already have been raised to immortal life as non-humans. In doing this they run up against another scripture which teaches: 2Ti 2:18 Who concerning the truth have erred, saying that the resurrection is past already; and overthrow the faith of some. Thus they teach a lie that excludes disciples that only Christ has authority over. And their heavenly hope is simply another error of terminology that stands for a hope authorized by God. It was a Jewish way to say this since other texts say God’s kingdom instead. So we are not describing a far away place where some may exist as non-humans but a totally human and earthly government that will exist right here on earth. This government will be human as only humanity was redeemed from sin and it can be traced to the line of David that will some day be established here once again. And this government does not exist yet as they teach. It will not become operative until our Lord does return once again as the human being that left after His resurrection and He will run it in that capacity. We simply function as Christ in His place for now to care for His interests. Our place in it will some day be as immortal and justified human beings. The Nations will also be restored to immortal life in this kingdom and taught by us in our new capacity as priests and teachers. It will be at this time that they also will have the opportunity be become justified, a designation which we already enjoy: ... And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

bone marrow for dummies

when someone gets a bone marrow transplant does that involve a blood tranfusion?

my friend (who is still in and doesn't know i am out) has a friend who is getting a bone marrow transplant.. i was wondering how much icky worldy blood she will get from the bone marrow donor?.

And who would that be? False teachers like the WTS and its disciples? Yes! This is however not a problem for those in the Faith who know the difference between the truth and liers. After all they know what the scriptures really teach.

Blood, bone marrow, transfusions or anything else involving blood is no longer an issue to the Faith and any disciples that now exist in it. Why? Because human blood in all its forms that depicted condemned life and the sin that was carried along by it is no longer an issue for the Faith. This is because we are no longer under any Law that requires special use and care of it. Heb 13:20 Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant. And there are many texts that teach much the same thing as: 1Jo 1:7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. From this time onward wine that depicted His blood would now serve this purpose for us. 1Co 10:16 The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not the communion of the body of Christ?

Now some Jews in Jerusalem thought it still was and wrote a letter to this effect but they were still keeping the Law and this error made by them was not corrected by Paul as he should have. This attitude that Paul had at the time is much like what Catholics have of their Pope and Watchtower witnesses have of their sacred governing body today. This would plague him for many years and nearly cost him his life. The Watchtower and many other religions still believe in this ruling as they did and do not see the extensive efforts made in scripture to correct it. They support this apostate teaching made at that time and their support and doctrines have cost many their lives. It was recorded for us by Luke to show how apostasy could originate from within the Faith and why we should be aware of this reality. Luke detailed how this apostasy plagued Paul during his ministry and detailed the bad that resulted from it. The deadly results that such apostasy brings should be enough for us to recognize it. We as disciples are after all responsible for what we teach others and cannot put this responsibility on others when we err. Instead of being a teacher of truth Watchtower witnesses bring death to themselves and the homes of others that they involve. This doctrine is only one of many that scream out to us that they do not have the truth and never did. Human blood was no longer a factor for salvation back then. It would now be obtained: Col 1:14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins: Is no one listening to this truth?
