  the state of texas will execute andrea yates for the murder of her children.

  the jury decision was just announced.

  she had choked and drowned her children to death, five in all.

  Movie that could describe your experience as a jw?

  personnally, i thing that the movie "the matrix" and the movie "the truman show" really describe my experience in the wbts.

  when i discovered the truth about the "truth", my perception of the reality became really different.

  all that i have been taught was just a big lie.

  my freinds funeral

  a lovely lady was buried this week.

  she was 86. she allways liked me, and still talked to me even after i left the truth.. everybody loved her, and her last words were "send my love to the brothers" and "dont forget to put in my donation for march" the hall was only half full as she was buried i couldnt help but think that she was somewhat forgotten by here "brothers".. anyway i just wanted to remember her.. regards.

  everybody loved her, and her last words were "SEND MY LOVE TO THE BROTHERS" AND "DONT FORGET TO PUT IN MY DONATION FOR MARCH" the hall was only half full as she was buried i couldnt help but think that she was somewhat forgotten by here "brothers".

  anyway i just wanted to remember her.

  everyone on this board has always been there for me when i needed help and i appreciate it so much.

  now it is my friend that is in trouble.

  (the same one that i wrote about in most of my other posts particularly the ones about ray franz and coc).

  pleases forward this to you freind.

  i was a witness all my life. i am 27 now and am free of it. i have helped 6 people leave with me, and am very happy about it.

  "the truth" should be about finding truth in our lives, not in accepting every false beleif taught to us.

  i would rather die than give up REAL TRUTH please dont allow any pressure to defeat your search.

  following up on refiners story, i heard a good one about the gb.. one of the gb (im not sure which one was visiting ireland.

  he walked in the door and stopped.

  turned around ran his finger over the top of the door, and wiped it looking for dust.. when he finished he ignored the greeting of the local bigwigs and demanded, "whos in charge od bethel cleaning ?

  when he finished he ignored the greeting of the local bigwigs and demanded, "WHOS IN CHARGE OD BETHEL CLEANING ?" "I WANT TO HAVE A WORD WITH HIM" this is true i swear to god.

  my freind an elder was present at the time. another story i know about took place in the ireland bethel.

  another freing (a plumber) was asked to drive down and fix the heating system. it being winter my freind agreed top fix it for free and pay for the parts. he drove 120 miles to newcastle co wicklow, and knocked the door.

  they informed him he couldnt enter unless he shaved his beard off!!!! he said noand left. they spent the next week in the cold before paying a plumber (beardless no dought) to fix it.

  all true i swear. i heard these stories from eyewitnesses, or the individuals involved.

  gentile times reconsidered worth the cost?

  i don't have 10 or 12 dollars to spend that isn't necessary, so does this book really contain anything that i haven't already read on the dozens of websites that have info on the 607-1914 chronology subject?

  refiner is correct, allthough i think the gentile times is well worth the few quid.

  the greatest addman who ever lived......

  i have allways thought that the single greatest asset the jws have is the nickname "the truth".. trying to get through to our freinds and parents the sickening facts about "the truth", we are constantly stymied.

  by the sentence "i still beleive its the truth".. this is the equialent of calling your law firm "the honest ones".

  or your shop, "the best".. only better, much better.. jws mistake a concept, "truth" with "the truth".

  i waz 23 yrs.

  old when i signed up to be a dub.

  being a former catholic with the (big church & choris thing), i waz always puzzled at the pathetic wimpering the dubs called singing.. looking back, it now makes sence to me, this monotinous droning waz just a reflection of a sick religion, a church without a heart & soul!
