the fear of rejection has once again controlled my life and my actions in an unintentional act of self destruction brought on by how i was raised to view life.
i have come to the conclusion that i will probably be battling this psychological whirlpool of self sabotage for the rest of my life and i do not think i have the ability to completely eliminate it.

i've committed myself to hosting christmas day at my place and that includes cooking a christmas dinner for at least 11 people.. i already planned on my "adopted" family coming over which would be no big deal, just snacks and a few beers.
but this year i spent thanksgiving with my older brother and his family.

as a 28 year old single guy i find it hard to cook for lots of geusts, however if i can give any help it would be that you should KEEP IT SIMPLE.
dont go crazy with every little thing make one or two big EASY dishes ans stick too that. lasagna ore chilli or both.
buy desert make it exspensive with ice cream everybody likes that.

my neighbours have been having a party for the last two weeks.
they are both drunks, and spend the day drinking with their mates outside my brothers apartment where i currently live.
i tried to stop them, but as they are convicted violent crims i was at a loss.. now instead of tolerating it i asked the local terrorists for help.

the neighbours are themselves terrorists with violent convictions.
calling the police would be considered a traitorous thing to do in the community.
if you need something done you ask the local factions or nothing gets done.
i am as litigious as the next guy but know when to give up on the law and seek other justice.
for the record i feel bad, but noy quite guilty. the block i live in has a 74 lady with 2 strokes under her belt. when she complained they threatened to break her windows.
i am concerned about being called on to repay my debt, but i am moving in sep to a nice law abiding private area. with no social housing nearby. yippee

i saw both today, one was black and blue, and the other had three broken ribs, and a puntured lung.
i feel a bit bad for them, but not really guilty. my question is, what would you have done?

next month i'll be taking the plunge and purchasing my first multi-unit building.
i've done some research on the area of landlording but as they say "experience is the best teacher".
so for those of you who have rented out to others before what would you say is the worst aspect of landlording?.

i am a landlord at present and plan to buy more property shortly. i can recommend letting agents heartily.
the thing to do is get to know and like your agent, and demand a huge security.
my one and only tenant is a good guy but gets assistance for his rent, im happy as it comes to me every month like clockwork.
once again know your tenant. know your letting agent, and charge a big security.

perhaps i'm just a bit paranoid..but i get the feeling that there are a few posters that actually hate me (before its assumed--no i'm talking about lack of responses to my threads.. and no i am not talking about a disagreement of opinion) i am talking about a few posters that come across to me as very hateful in their responses.. and yes i know that not everyone here will like me (even though i'm so darn sweet and cute...lol) but it is an intense animosity vibe that i get and can't seem to shake.. maybe i am mistaken and maybe its just me..... but if there is anyone out there that does dislike me that much---i am curious as to why---only because i try to learn and grow everyday and your input would be especially valuable and probably essential to that -growth.. so whats the verdict---do you love me, hate me or just not care either way?.
