elderly people, not married, living together?
by Mulan ini would like some opinions on a situation that seems to be arising in my family.. since my mother is now a widow, and her income will be much less, she may not be able to afford to stay where she is, even with the financial assistance she gets from the family.
so we have talked about her moving in with us.
the problem is, my father, her ex husband lives with us too.

if you dont go youll never get closure.
if you go youll be sad, and maybe cry.
if you dont go youll allways wish you did.
if you go you be present at the last thing in your freinds life.
i can think of no greater honour to a person that mourning him at his funeral.
i hope you go, but thats just my opinion.
a good freind of mine committed suicide years ago. i couldnt go, and i still regret it.
i could have gone if i had REALLY wanted to, but it was too sad at the time.i wish i could do it again.

Life On Other Planets
by Black Man inthe society has taken stabs at it in the past only to double-talk the issue to death and insert their own prograndized spin on it.
i remember one article encouraged peeps to not look for life on other planets, but instead try to draw close to extra-terrestrials that want to draw close to us (jehovah, jesus, faithful angels) or either imply at the end of one publication that jehovah has a purpose for the universe but that the earth will always be special because this is where his name/right to rule was vindicated.

For Englishman & other Europeans
by Bendrr inok, favorite/most despised cars thread.. i'm a mechanic (undercar) in the states, and american mechanics for the most part really don't like most european cars.
the words saab, renault, and peugot will send most mechanics on an early lunch break that may last into next week or until the car leaves the shop.. a swedish person once joked about skoda cars to me in a chat room.
what do you call a skoda with twin pipes (dual exhaust)?
