i miss uncle bruce allthough its my fault as i have his email. i miss farkel. i miss cowgirl and the nice lady who was a moderater on h20. she kept me in check.

Where are they now? Past posters ...
by Simon ini've just been looking back over some of the old posts and remembering some of the people we have had on the forum, been friends with and now miss.. one of the down-sides of running a place like this is that it becomes harder and harder to really 'get to know' many of the new ones like it was at first and i'm often working on the system and seeing so many names that they sometimes almost become a blur.
sometimes i see a post by a name i don't recognise and they've already made 100+ or so posts !.
many people are bound to move on eventually (although we're lucky to have a good bunch of 'regulars') and it's unfortunate that some are put off posting by personality clashes (possibly mine!

I made it!

the teachers on the primary school advised me to go follow pre-university education.

The Memorial???

and paul says 'until he arrives'.
hasn't jesus already arrived according to jw's in 1914. so shouldn't the celebration of the memorial have ceased as of this date?.

We need help
by Lee Elder inthis is a request to get some assistance in preparing an estimate of how many jehovah's witness children leave the religion during or after adolescence.
i know the figure is substantial based on my own observations, but we need some way to document it.
please put on your thinking cap and publish your ideas here.

1 get average number of witnesses per country
2 find out average birth rate per country
3 try to find out percentage of converts to jws
4 take away birth rate + converts from average jws = decline of jws not converts
or something like that

my computer broke some time ago, and i just bought a new one, but funnily enough ive
found that i dont need to think about the truth as much. i get on better with my family. my dffd sister, and have lent out my apostate books to many active jws. there is currently a huge fight going on in the hall because of the brothers who read them actually quoting them in the meetings!! (minus the titles)
i have held the elders off me because i spoke to one elder and told him id love to get dffd, because i would sue, and publicize it locally. they dont bother me too much, but now accack my bro instead for no real reason.
i will of corse tape all future conversations and download them for you.

I SAVED A LIFE TONIGHT !!!
by josephus intonight i was leaving my flat with my brother, when a drunk guy from across the road came over shouting that his freinds apartment was on fire.. my brother and my kicked in the door, and went in to the flaming building three times.
we eventually found him slumped over in a sofa.. i thought we were goners because we got lost on the way out, the smoke had by this time filled the room.. my brother and me dragged him out the door when his collection of half finished whisky bottles and gas lighterc refills exploded.. the only casualty was us with smoke inhalation, and my brothers car keys which fell out of his pocket in the rush.. look in the lisburn star on fridays for my smokey face.

we went to the door when we couldnt break into the double glazed windows, and the door was half smashed up anyway. allthough i am lucky i shave my head as it would have burned off !!
