  I would never give my life for my country or any other country for that matter.

  I would give it up to save another human being, regardless of race, ethnicity, or religion. Yes, even including a JW(though they have the resurrection hope).

  What's The Difference Between A Normal Person & A Jehovah's Witness???

  there are many differences between a "worldly" person aka "normal" and a jw.

  for example, a jw is horrified by christmas lights.

  Normal, assuming you mean a "worldly person" in the eyes of a JW ---

  • Gets drunk
  • Parties a lot
  • Commits immorality/adultery
  • Lies, cheats, steals
  • Watches rated R movies
  • Smokes weed
  • Uses foul language

  Whereas a witness does these things ---

  • Gets drunk
  • Parties a lot
  • Commits immorality/adultery
  • Lies, cheats, steals
  • Watches rated R movies
  • Smokes weed
  • Uses foul language

  To tell you the truth, I don't see much of a difference except for the crazy cult eyes and the haircut.

  i just returned a customer's phone call and heard that on the voice mail.

  every now and then these come along, and i experience a few emotions or thoughts.

  my thoughts and experiences, and yes i know everyone isn't like this and there are a lot of great, humble, christ serving people here and out there...this isn't directed at you:.

  Hello all, here's my story.

  brace yourself, this may make you gag.. holidays were spent in service.

  some friends were having a bbq that we were invited to, i went down and asked to see if there were by-products in the wieners.. i was baptized at 15.. i asked to be baptized at 12 and to humor me they let me take the test.

  to their surprise i actually aced it but the elder convinced my parents that i was still too young.. i would run lemonade stands in the summer time and donate the proceeds to the hall.

  At my baptismal I got the CO to sign a program that I framed and hung in my room.

  LOL! That's the first time I've heard of someone doing that!

  Oh my god. Someone has an itchy trigger finger(the director of Knocking) on the comment section of this trailer for Knocking on You Tube. I posted this comment:

  Why did Joel avoid answering the question about why he did not become a JW? Is it because the Watchtower Bible & Tract Society does not allow gay people to become members of the faith?

  ***Edited to add: The woman's question to Joel is asked at 1:58 into the video*** My comment was gone within 5-10 minutes of being posted. I wonder if Joel is worried that if it becomes known that he is gay, will the jw's refrain from buying his video?

  BTW, where is that thread which showed that Joel was in fact gay? I think we should hammer out a bunch of comments and links that point viewing jw's to his sexual preference.

  **Disclaimer: I have no problem with gay people AT ALL. I'm just curious to see why Joel is appearing to try and hide this fact from the JW faithful.**

  I was going by the old 1 / 2 rule to give me .5.

  That would work if we were looking at what percentage 8758 is of 8524. But it's the percentage of increase we wanted to know.

  Hambeaks Extremely Heartbreaking News

  our friend hambeak just got the most dreaded phone call from his jw child.

  the news was passed on as he was asked for by name and not as"dad" and let known that "they" just called to let him know that his other son, brian, age 26, is dead.

  he was in a car accident.

  I'm sorry to hear about that Hambeak. I'll probably never know what it's like to lose a child, but I can only imagine it is the worst thing that a parent would go through.
