while i was at the meeting at the kingdom hall, (oh so fun!....
) the person giving the sunday talk was talking about paradise and how wonderful it will be.. while trying not to fall asleep it hit me... what happens when the earth fills up with people in paradise?
Ok, I can understand about your questioning the earth being filled...what next thing.
BUT...

many of us have been looking forward to the weekend just to re-charge our exhausted batteries ..... or to finish reading that great new book "the four presidents of the watch tower society".
mrs ozzie and i have been taking it in turns to read each chapter.
#8. I would always try to think of the scripture "he that endures to the end will be saved" and wonder how long we had to endure. Sheeeeeesh, the load of that spiritual paradise? was so burdensome, its really a surprise we all didn't go crazy!!
Boy the freedom felt when I realized it was all a bunch of hoooey (is that word?) the load truely became light!!
Now I can just look at those poor JW's left behind and shake my head for all that they have to endure.
As JT used to say "do more, do more, beat the friends, beat the friends". Yep, that's their moto.

i'm in a speech class in college and would like to make full use of it to expose jw's as much as possible, but in a respectable manner that won't get me in trouble with the professor.
i've decided to speak on whether or not it's okay for parents to refuse life-saving medical treatment for their children.
i was interested in what particular arguments hold the most weight with you.

interesting topic and filled with plenty of emotions.
I've heard medical people say "how do you know that the child will grow up and accept his parents religion. Shouldn't the child have the option to live and make a decision when he/she is an adult".
So stick with facts, if you can. But there is nothing wrong, imho, to appeal to the mother/father love of a child and why would you want to sacrafice that child for men's opinion.
