  it's been about four years since i attended the kh, and i'm amazed to realize just how many of the doctrines i have forgotten.. i don't have the literature at my disposal anymore (or maybe i'm just too lazy), and the phrase "sacred secret" just popped into my head yesterday.

  wasn't it one of the j-dub teachings of some sort?

  (i remember asking my mom when i was a little girl, and i seems to me that she had trouble explaining it herself.).

  NEVER being able to sleep in!!!!!

  gawd I hated those bells.

  Head of the table keeping count how many mornings you missed. (I just wanted to sleep in once in awhile).

  Force reading the bible to say you got it done during entrance school.

  Hour or more commute to KH, missing dinner to get to meetings on time. Coming home after midnight and getting up early again!!!!

  NEVER getting to sleep in!!! (Who wants to sleep in on a saturday when your hubby has to get up and go to work! ppphhhhfff)

  The smug, self-rightous attitude of "elite" bethelites. (you know who they are, sat "in front" of you, according to senority)

  The out right propaganda from the GB..."the best place to be in the world" "cream of the crop"

  The only good thing was that Bethel was in NYC!!! I LOVE NYC. .....Broadway, Bloomindales, Time Square, etc, etc, etc.

  wow! I love it!

  but........ummmmmm.....when I took my dog to the vet last week they had the animal channel on..........and it was showing a dog giving birth (love all kinds of births) but I forgot in the animal world the mom EATS the placenta!!!!!!!

  Thank goodness the pics are an hour old because I can see everything is cleaned up. Thank you.

  It's another boy

  our eldest son (40) and his wife (37) are expecting their third baby in september (a "surprise" pregnancy.

  they got the results of their amnio yesterday and it is another boy.

  they have two boys, 10 and almost 4. the ultrasound had given them hope it was a girl, but had an amnio to be sure.. they were disappointed, but my dil had a feeling it was a boy all along, so wasn't too excited about a girl yet.

  it's called family secrets: our episode's title: when nobody's looking.

  they already have been showing the commerical which includes scenes from our episode.

  my husband posts and i vicariously live through his posts.

  i will not bore you with the details of how i became a jw's and how i left but right from the beginning, i wondered if you stopped going to meetings would the brainwashing stop or would it really be satan sinking in.

  The last time we were caught in public during the national anthem was at the Houston Astrodome, during a monster truck rally! (can you say rednecks???)

  We were hassled the whole evening after sitting through the national athem. Those redneck boys sure know how to drink loudy.

  I'm soooo glad that I will never be put in that situation again. I sing along now!
