No wings on that huge winebego of Joy's is there?
lol, no. So I told him he better start rowing if he wants to make it there by next weekend.
saturday seems to be much preferred over sunday, so this years bbq will be held on saturday, july 9th, commencing around 2 pm.
location is our home in weston super mare.
as usual, the day will be very boozy and proceedings will conclude in the waverley pub.

so, i've been sitting at the computer all night long, not really panicked, but definitely disturbed at the thought of what the months to come will entail.. the port-a-cath was "installed" (surgically) on monday, and that was tough.
somehow the lumpectomy last month and even finding out that there was lymph node involvement was okay.
scary, but okay.
((((((Brenda)))))))
hoping you come back from chemo to see all these wonderful comments for you.
I agree, the bad days will be 2 - 3 days afterwards. A good mental attitude is worth a lot. You are such a strong lady. Keep the rainbow in front of you.
I couldn't help but think when you said: "So why do I feel so utterly alone depsite the love and prayers and actions of so many?" that you are facing what every human has to face......our own eventuality............it comes down to being at peace with oneself.
Know you are loved.

ps. love your new avitar pic. Sedona........beautiful.
i need some feedback on a delicate matter.
my non-jw father is going to be 87 years old in a few months.
in the event of him passing away, i'm worried my jw sister will take over the funeral arrangements with a jw talk and all that.
yes, get the information in writing ahead of time so that there is no JW witnessing altering what your dad's wishes are.
What a good child you are to watch out for your parent's needs.

as usual with the particular operation he is having there are serious risks.
i ask his friends to send anything positive his way today.

Hey Celia, looking forward to seeing you, too.
It wasn't hard to go to the bus station at Heathrow and get a ticket to Bristol. You may want to get one all the way into Westin Supre-Mare.
Salem and I are still planning on going. See ya there.
Joy
pssst, Mike, can you tell the lady next door to reserve a room for Salem and I for friday and saturday night? Thanks
the first time that i met simon, he was wearing a t-shirt emblazoned with the word "apostate".
it was all spelt out in evil-type letters, in fact it looked suitably demonic.. when i encountered him at another 'fest, his t-shirt slogan simply read: "no!
i will not fix your computer!"..
I think another poster said this already, but I thought it was cute. (I think it was Richie Rich)
