no need for eden tree unless god knew an angle was...going to try and foil his purpose for other life forms.this has always not added up for me.

there is really no reason for the tree (s) unless god knew that he had angles that were already bad in their 'hearts'.

so the questions i have on this are.... were the angles tested to see if they would remain faithful?were humans created to be the test for the angles?was it was 'fair' to have spirit creatures (millions of years old?

How 'good' was God's relationship with Adam if he was too afraid to come to Him when Eve was deceived?

Has anyone noticed that they are really pushing that Satan is after us and how much the world hates us.

it seems like the january 15th wt and the march 15 wt are about satan attacking us.

maybe it is because i am seeing things more clearly or maybe they are truly using it more.

they are really getting into the fact that the world hates us a quote from the jan 15th wt on page 30 says "the world is basically hostile toward us.

Same here for over 50 years...My mom who is almost 80 still says to me stay faithful, put up a hard fight since Satan is really steeping up his attack on us...so sad so sad. I really feel sorry for everyone who has not come to realize there is something really, really wrong with what we have been taught. It would put my mon into a never ending spiral if she would realize she is being lied to.

What % of current JWs sincerely believe Armageddon will come within the next 30 years?

just to give you a little background about myself, i was a born-in, i'm in my late 20's now, i faded away a few years ago after researching the history of the wtbs on the internet.

my fade was aided by moving away with my job(i definately feel lucky about that).

eventually, i had discussions with a couple of my closer jw friends about why i no longer believed in the wtbs.

I'm still in but do not go to meetings regulary but those that I talk with openly feel it still can happen anytime...but some are planing 10-15 years in the future. My parents that are almost 80 and still hope/feel it will come soon...as they have been waiting their entire lives for it.

I think most don't think about when it will come, they just hope one day they will wake up and here it will be...
I recall thinking myself that it will come within 3-5 years, certainly no more than 10. Being born in and over 50 I been saying that since the 80s after the 1975 failure...3 to 5 years...no more then 10...over and over again trying to convince myself that it would happen, but here we are 30-40 years later and not here yet.

Why would God allow His "chosen org" be wrong for so long?----He wouldn't!!!

but an organization like the wt society bent on controlling virtually every aspect of the typical jehovah's witness life - would make this up to keep their control through the use of fear and guilt.

so- i thought i'd share what i thought was the strangest, most offensive, weird language dealing with what the wt society calls " disfellowshipping offenses " .

Free Will?

as jw's we are taught that the reason we have free will is to decide whether or not we want to serve god.

we are all very aware of the jw position on children of non-believers.

they will be destroyed at armageddon, just like the children at sodom and gomorrah and back in noah's day.

Since God created us should He have the right to expect our worship?
Can He demand that we follow his rules?

**Perhaps...but we should only be judged when we are in the same perfect state as Adam and Eve (and Jesus)...ONLY THEN!

If your parent treats you with love, kindness, and always willing to help you understand anything and everything...then most would reciprocate in like manor.

We will never have our questions answered to our satisfaction... because we are not able to grasp why God has not stopped these atrocities that are being leveled againts us or even why he has allowed this mistreatment in the first place...IMO

in order to deal with confronting the repressed feelings and emotions that we may not realize exist because our 'ego' (consciousness) neglects our 'shadow' (unconsciousness).

Another question about the Governing Body

now that all the members of the original governing body have completed their earthly course, a question popped into my mind.. i know that there was no governing body prior to 1971. before that, how was jehovah supposed to communicate with the anointed?

and, how come he decided to have a governing body, so that the new light would come to more men, instead of just the president of the watchtower?

why was a governing body not there since 1914, for example?.
