I never asked for a donation: I just gave a certain amount once a month and when people spontaneously gave something, I could decide to keep the money for me or not. That's it.

i must confess: i took my apostate brother out to lunch and paid for it with my www stash.
i hadn't deposited my money in a long time, so there was about $30 in there.. .

Girls - what subject got you thinking?
by wannabefree inreading the post "how long did it take you to leave", i can't help but be envious of those of you who refer to leaving as a "we" event.. i know it has been said that women tend to react to feelings/emotions along with logic, can you help me with ideas that got you to feel something was wrong?

EASY WAY TO END IT ALL
by QuitWastingTIME ini don't understand... with all the people who are contra-watchtower - i mean all the books, all the websites, all the forums dedicated to "exposing" the watchtower "truth" - why has no one group actually just gone ahead and really exposed it?.
all the proceeds from crisis of conscience or whatever other books (many on amazon.com) or whatever spare money and time people have to create these forums for people of varying degrees of craziness and experience could all go towards one simple solution: infiltrate the governing body "enclave" meeting room with bugged mics and a hidden camera.
really, why hasn't anyone thought of that?

Where do I begin?

As a JW, Did You Pray & Study With Your Spouse?

what about a "family study"?.
i was a pioneer and ministerial servant, but praying with somebody was always the most awkward, uncomfortable thing ever.

Up until 4 weeks ago, we still did read the daily scriptures brochure, prepare book bible study and watch tower as well as reserve one evening for family study (insofar as one can study with 2 and 5 year old children) and my hubby was always praying with us on those occasions as well as before meal. That was it.

What Stupid Things Were You Counseled For?

the other elders talked to the elder who counseled me and he came back to say that i should be like i was .
