  Who called the cops, I wonder...

  Good question. If it was my kid, I would call the cops for 2 reasons: 1) some old codger just molested my kid. 2) I just beat the old codger to near death.

  Has anyone heard of the elders being called independent agents. Spoke to a brother in the Legal department and he called them that.

  just wondering if anyone has ever heard of elders being referred to as independent agents before.

  i called the legal department and spoke to an older brother about the child molesters in my hall about a month ago.

  he did not want to speak to me because i am just a stupid sister but he did finally agree and that was one point he made.

  The WTS has to follow building codes when doing any type of construction. If they don't they building does not get passed by the building inspector, who is a county or state employee.

  So I would guess that if it meets the requirements and passes then WTS is off the hook.

  yes. I spent YEARS doing relief work with the RBC and In cases where the branch repairs your house you are expected to sign over the funds that you get as a resullt of insurance.

  I never knew this. What a bunch of sneaky assholes.

  among them and their associates, almost all are based on faces of cherubs, serpent as the god of healing, many things from solomon's temple.

  i know those who continue to make them and use them, must have an idea of what they represent and the reason for them.

  i don't know, if the general members have any clue or if they are just in it for their own reasons, the association, benefits, to help others, or to advance their life/career, etc.

  I didn't know that StAnn, amazing. I've checked into the discount that the witnesses receive and it isn't much, $5-15 on average for a 3 star hotel when I can find about the same price for a 4 star. It's all about the control.

  I've noticed this as well through the years. You would think that the Atkins diet was part of WTS doctrine! No not quite, but I've been through a few cities where this diet was HUGE with the witnesses. It almost had a cult following... no surprise there!

  Now versus 7 Years Ago.....

  we have been out of the organization since 1-1-2004 - at least that is the way we mark it to remember.

  we began to read ray's books in late fall/early winter of 2003 - a thousand pages later and a few weeks - viola - we were out to never return.. i was contemplating just how significantly i have personally changed in that period of time - not the stages, though there have been many stages.

  but the raw contrast of my opinions, moral stance, and view of the world is amazing.
