World map showing net reduction in publisher numbers
by cedars inmp has asked which country has lost the most publishers, and i decided to investigate.
one thing led to another, and i decided to produce another world map, this time showing the net reduction in publishers for each country.. this has been calculated by means of the following equation for each country:.
2011 total no.

I did a similar chart/spreadsheet for my folks about 2 years ago. The numbers don't lie do they? A lot can be extrapolated from them and when I did hours per baptism which was (at that time) over 5500, to the decreasing growth, my mom was floored. I talked about my findings to others I somewhat trusted to give me their opinion, one elder said he was aware of the decrease or stagnation in growth on a global scale, but was happy (happified?) that our area was showing an increase.
Boggles my mind constantly on the ignorance or blind faith rather, that people still "in" believe. I'm so glad to be rid of that bs!

More people need to see this. This is a great source of incriminating material. Self-incriminating that is. :)

6/15 WT - WT Society can Run it's Business - but JW's Can't Have their Own
by flipper inin the typical do as we say , not as we do type mentality - the wt society puts forth in this current wt study article ( jw's only wt ) - that it's not " advisable " or " reasonable " for jehovah's witnesses to seek entering their own business ventures , or further themselves by getting a college education, or even have a career - due to the imminent coming of the alleged " end of the system " or alleged " paradise " .
the guilt and control used here is ridiculous.
in the article titled , " why put jehovah's service first ?

What the Watchtower needs to do to survive.
by jwfacts indrop its teaching on paradise earth.. the primary issue facing the watchtower results from it's teaching that members will never die, but live forever on this earth in paradise.
this teaching is cause of most of the doctrinal failures, and will be its eventual demise.. the promise of never dying is one of the foremost motivations for people that join the religion, and the message of living forever in paradise is compelling.
however, it is also the watchtower's achilles heel, as it forces false predictions of the nearness of the end.

They are already a religion of insignificance. .01% of the world's population is nothing. Everything said about the state of the organization is true though, they are struggling and they are hurting bad. I just found out my old congo just got a butt reamer and all but one elder is left. They've been replaced or will soon be replaced by elders from the branch.
IMO, the end IS in sight, the end of the organization. I really think the next few years things will escalate to the point where their numbers will be decreasing.
I've successfully been able to pull someone dear to me out and on her way to becoming inactive and she questions the organization a lot more. There are many more like her on the verge of leaving, all they need is a slight nudge in the right direction.

2 pennies... let me see them survive on 2 pennies from each publisher per month. That is about $140k (per month) or $1.68million a year.
Sounds good to me, that should drive them to the ground faster! I don't know what corporation that could survive on that!

Does anyone here dream about demons?
by not bitter ini do, every few months and the dreams are terrifying.
i had one last night and the demons grabbed me as usual and instead of shouting out big j's name like i usually do in these dreams (not out loud mind you) i shouted instead ''get away from me satan'' ha!.
i don't believe in either but obviously my fear of demons growing up as affected my subconscious into adulthood (i'm 40).

No I don't dream of demunz. I never have. Even as a kid raised in the org, I always asked, if the demunz are out there trying to kill us, then how come I'm still alive? Maybe the demunz already knew I wasn't believing any of it and left me alone? Hah!
About 9 months ago my mother went off on me about how Satan is trying to kill me and his demunz are just waiting for a chance to snatch my life. I told her that I am not scared of Satan or the demons. She kind of looked at me like I was calling down Satan to my presence. I asked her if she was afraid of Satan, she said yes, he's a very powerful being. I said, (playing along like I believe Jehovah is the almighty supreme being) well, I'm not scared of Satan because Jehovah is more powerful than him don't you agree? She said yes, but you still need to fear Satan. I said, I don't live my life in fear anymore, I have the true supreme being behind me (which is not Jehovah). She kind of let that go and changed the topic instantly.
She is so brainwashed.

Use your anger and rage productively. Research your questions, get your answers to them. Look deeper into why they do what they do and hide what they hide. Use your anger to focus on those things that make your hair stand on end.
You have just been given an out to fade. Use it wisely. Use the excuse that the way they handled the situation cause you to lose faith in the organization and you are discouraged, if officially asked where you've been. Trust me, having privileges ripped from you because of some BS excuse is perfect to play the fade game with. It's worked for me and I've been "fading" for a couple years now. I have been officially inactive for 1 1/2 years. I still can associate with my family still in.
Good luck!

Oh and I will say this, from personal experience (been inactive for a couple years now). I moved to a new location and my old cong elders found out through family, so they had contacted me to let me know they would be xferring my pub cards over to the cong at my new location. After they arrived I got a call, thanks to my blabber mouthed mother, setting up a shepherding call. I wouldn't have agreed to it, but I am at the point of screwing with their heads now.
So I accepted, had them over and played along with their "encouragement". They were there only 30 minutes because I didn't answer any of they're probing questions, just general ones. They left saying they hope to see me at the upcoming Sunday meeting. I said, okay, see ya!"
That sunday came and went, I didn't go, I get a nasty text on Monday saying that the demunz are going to get me. I didn't respond, and I haven't talked to them since.
If that's enough to identify me, I don't give a sht anymore, I'm done with the silly cult. If my folks want to shun me, no problem, it's there loss. Not mine.
