Actually, the "morning star" is referring to a king of Babylon who wanted to raise his throne to the stars. Lucifer was used only in the KJV when Origen used it.
Just like the misguided use of 666 referring to the devil, this lucifer name is misinterpreted. When will people finally learn that the bible is allegorical, metaphorical or just ancient fables and lore rewritten for the Christian "faith"?
i was thinking about the next scenario:.
the united states (and western world) are losing influence compared to china, india and other new economy's.. with this decline of influence, the watchtower society, a true american religion and it's subsidiary's corporations are losing profits and losing it's base in much country's under china / india / indonesia / brazil influence.
what i see is that the watchtower society is selling it's main assets: landmark buildings in optimal condition.

I just read through it, skipping the mind-numbing prophecy they get muddled in, but holy crap! Are you freakin serious?! They put that in print? That is such a loaded words bunch of crap if I've ever seen it. It's like all of the "WTF?!" moments all in one article. This is awesome! after you got reinstated, how long did you stay as a jw before fading away or got df'd again.
were you zealous after you got reinstated?

1st DFing: within 5 years after reinstated I was DF'd again. I was never zealous after the reinstatment, I was a low hour publisher for that whole time.
2nd DFing: For the first 2 years after being reinstated the second time I was not zealous, but I was doing the national average for hours (faked of course). I was never "back" mentally this time around, the only reason I came back was because I fell for the love bombing when my grandpa died and came back because of that. My scheme was to see if I could get "appointed" as an MS or maybe even elder to be an "insider". Failed plan, but I learned TTATT. 3 years after being back this time around I was low hour publisher for 3 months, then no time reports for the next 6 months with little to no meeting attendance. Then stopped altogether 3 1/2 years ago? Might be 4 now...
i've read a few people mention making up the figures for the field service reports, and i want to find out how common it is.
i never lied on my report.
sometimes i'd round up 15 minutes if i'd mentioned jw stuff to my brother that month, but that wasn't falsifying.
I fudged my time for years, even when I didn't know TTATT. 5-7 hrs was my "I don't give a shit" after being a reg pioneer, then after getting df'd and then reinstated, it was 3-4 hrs for years, even when I was "reaching out" I would barely if ever report over 10 hrs. Towards the end it was 1 hr for the last 6 months and then I moved and stopped reporting altogether.
No idea what my "status" is officially, other than inactive, I could have been df'd again in abstentia, but doubtful...

WTWizard, I've learned that YHVH, or Yod-He-Vau-He represents the elements as well. The more I research the history surrounding the bible, the more I come to learn that it is all allegorical. The whole OT is Kabalistic, Tree of Life as one example and there are so many stories that have been taken from the orientals it's quite fascinating how Christianity is just another borrowed religion twisted by men of authority to control and subjegate the lower castes of humanity.
I am trying to see when I can work this article into a conversation with my family that are still in, but I think that might blow my fade wide open.

You know what amazes me about being "out" now? I actually pay more attention to the CA/DC parts in the outline or look at how they said something or what.
Before, when I was "in", I was a zombie, I couldn't tell you what was said 5 minutes ago in a talk. It was just snippets of things I purposely logged in my head so I had talking points if I needed them at the dinner me and the gang went to afterwards. 9 times out of 10 tho, we wouldn't bring anything from the convention up at all.
I firmly believe that 75-80% of those in attendance don't actually "hear a word" or can recall much. It's only that convention buzz, fervor that carries these people. I was one of them once a upon a time, but no more!!
