  Curious: What Is Your View of Alabama/Alabamians?

  Preparing information about cults and mind control to a therapist...

  i'm currently visiting a psychologist/therapist to help me examine and work through my depression- i've had medical depression/anxiety all of my life.

  i'm no longer anxious or excessively paranoid for the most part- that was a part of my younger childhood, probably from fears and nightmares of destruction at armageddon, and other childhood exaggerations and amplified fears.

  but right now, she's treating me for a recent fall back into a depression.. anyways, for the most part, as you could guess, my depression stems from learning i have wasted my entire life (17 years) up to now in a cult, and pretty much my entire perceived world was nothing but an illusory concept.

  I wouldn't stress out too much of trying to educate your therapist. As Awake&Watching stated, it should be your therapists job to do this research. If she is not comfortable with dealing with the cult topic ask her to recommend a therapist that is. You are the client and patient, you have every right to request another therapist or find a new one yourself.

  i got one shoved under my door and i even have a "no trespassing" sign on my door what the heck???.

  i thought they couldn't leave literature if there was a no trespassing sign posted???

  am i wrong?.

  Trespass:

  1. To commit an offense or a sin; transgress or err.
  2. Law. To commit an unlawful injury to the person, property, or rights of another, with actual or implied force or violence, especially to enter onto another's land wrongfully.
  3. To infringe on the privacy, time, or attention of another: "I must . . . not trespass too far on the patience of a good-natured critic" (Henry Fielding).

  Having a No Trespassing sign on your property would indicate that #2 above be obeyed. If they left it on your doorstep and crossed the sign on your property than they have committed an offense.

  Sue them! Hah!

  I'm just wondering, being that he is the last of the GB version 1.0 that is still alive, if he is pulling his weight as far as anchoring some of the current doctrine that GB 1.0 rolled out and is holding back version 2.0 from rolling out some drastic changes? Quite possibly GB 2.0 is sticking to the course, but ya never know...

  What about Gene Smalley? He isn't part of the GB, but he is the "expert" on the blood doctrine. Any idea how long this guy has left? Who else in the upper echelons of WBTS power are getting "up there" in age?

  It would be interesting if when these old guard members die off if the next generation will try to do some corporate reform. Wishful thinking? Nah, just bored at work and let my boredom take over...

  Going good, sounds like you had a wonderful time in Spain. I need to do a european trip some time. I would scan through the Active Topics for the last week or however long you've been gone, some good topics. No major announcements or anything though.
