You bring out a good point, if Adam was created perfect, why did god put in the garden a "Tree of Life™?" He ate from the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Bad™ first, and was punished by being banished from the garden so they could not eat of the Tree of Life and be like god, immortal.

So, sounds like a big lab experiment by god doesn't it? If that truly is the case, I mean the bible has been passed down through the centuries passing through hundreds/thousands of translators and scribes... how accurate is the bible? Really.

I think I'm going to post that on my FB page. It's not an apostate site so the "friends" I have that are still in won't go bat-shit crazy over me posting it. Should give them something to think about.

On second thought, nvm, just read more on that site, I'm sure linking that blogspot is sure to raise the defenses with them... oh but it would feel so good to do it...

just think how religious doctrine would change if we had irrefutable proof of aliens visiting earth.

an even greater mental holocaust would occur if an alien's body was found.. now, 30 years ago i would not have thought too much of it, but the potential reality now is a tad frightening!.

I think it would be awesome. The whole alien theory. I mean I don't know for sure that there is or isn't life somewhere else, but just say there is and they were to come here to visit/takeoever/destroy imagine the chaos that would bring? Let's just speculate on the peaceful side of it, people would be going bonkers that an alien race came to earth. I mean really, think about it, the ripple effect is beyond comprehension. Even with the Hollywood versions of imagination...

I don't know, would be interesting to say the least.

what if you had terminal cancer and were prescribed this by your physician?

you already have a terminal disease so the thing about destroying your "body as a temple" thing is a mute point.

The book, Is the Bible Really From God...

my son, (little pilferer) was in my parents' basement and managed to put that.

book in his pocket....we have a plan now where he'll return it and then get another.

there's some really old stuff down there..anyway, this bible really from god book.

My mom has a copy of that and a whole host of books from the early 1900's. I will say though, that anything taken out of these books is considered "old light" no longer valid.
