if you were a male growing up in the congregation, it was expected that you would "reach out" for a position in the hall.

some of us did just that and others didn't want any "privileges"!.

i knew some people, especially "sisters", that really wanted their relative or good friend to be appointed so they might "change things".

When I was a kid, I wanted to be a Regular Pioneer. Did that. When I was a Regular Pioneer, I wanted to be a MS. Never got there. Last year when I was 'reaching out' I wanted to be a MS again. Never happened, in fact the whole fiasco of them recommending me and then being put on hold because it was too soon from my reinstatement made me realize that I was just another piece of meat in the org.

1 year later I am irregular, low hour (i.e. fake 2 hr reports) and about to be inactive. The org can kiss my ass.

yes, brothers and sisters, how joyous we all are that now 96 years have passed since the gentile times ended and their kings had their day!.

what many reasons we have to be among jehovah's happy people knowing that some will still be alive to see the end that were alive at the momentous time of october 1, 1914!

At what age should women stop wearing tight jeans!?

walking ahead of me is this woman with a really nice butt in really tight jeans, small waist, nice hair.

(yes, guys, even us women notice other women's butts:-) she stops at the dairy section, turns around and i swear she is 60 if not older!

I say if your ass still looks good in tight jeans, by all means wear it. I've caught myself checking out some 'hot' jean wearin' ass only for them to trun around and be old enough to be my grandma. It's a moment of shock, then, 'damn, I hope when I'm her age I can check out old hot chicks! lol

Update re my counselling

i promised to update so..... i went along today for the assessment...it was just a young girl and i was doubtful about how it would go ...quite quickly though she realised it wasnt your 'average' dilemma with me.... she is planning to confer with her superiors about whether either.

Good to hear you are taking steps to help yourself through professional means, the road now may be rough, but once you're through this you will be so much stronger and resilient!

has anyone looked into Buddhism?

i've started reading a book called the modern buddhist's bible and i'm liking a lot of things about the religion so far.

of course i don't know much yet, but there seem to be some very good points to buddhism.

one thing i love is the emphasis on "killing" the ego (or whatever you might want to call what buddhists try to do with their egos!).

I did this last night Liberty, I ended up sitting there for 30 minutes without even knowing it. It was refreshing. All I did was inhale - Rise, exhale - Fall, with each breath. I had a good nights rest after that too.
