I HATE this religion

so today was my first sunday meeting that i didn't go with my wife.

as an update she has decided not to move out right now...because she doesn't have anywhere to go.

but she is giving me the silent treatment.

first and foremost i want to thank all the brothers (and one or two sisters) who were pdfing like mad to get these 'pre-kingdom school' chapter reviews ready (as per boe ltr these are 1,2,4-7,9 & 11)!.

for those of you trying to see who could do the entire book i want to let you know we had a 'dark horse' enter this race and his email was so compelling he is our 'winner' in being responsible for the full book (forthwith coming in the next day or so)-- and i will reveal more about him (as per his wishes) then.. so lets not waste anymore time in reviewing chapter one of the 'shepheding the flock of god' published by the wts (a non-profit organization whose purpose of this publication like all others is provided as part of a worldwide bible educational work.

Maybe the husband see's hope for himself. Now that you're out, maybe that is what will swing his pendelum the other way and leave too. I don't know your situation so I'm probably way off the mark But you can always hope!

Actually, there are still 5 meetings a week. The book study, or rather the Congregation Bible Study as it is called now, is on the same night as the TMS and SM. So technically, there are still 5.

Back to your comment about the R&F looking forward to less meetings, maybe that's next, taking out the CBS. Who knows?

More KS-10 'Shepherding' instruction LTR

while i at this moment don't have my hands on a scan and very dear 'anonymouse brother' wishes for the forum to know as a 'heads up'!.

here is the 'gist' of the ltr until we get an actual scan ..... apparently some elders want to have their books spiral bound.

the branch has sent out specific instructions that it can be done only by an elder for other elders.

Pray for the Governing Body

i was told that at the 2010 annual meeting, jws were asked to pray for the governing body to remain(?

) discreet and make wise decisions.. please include this in your prayers..

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the Annual General Meeting still used to vote on the positions of the GB and the Directors of the various corporations by 500 elected "members"? This being done before the "public" meeting part.

Understanding Revelation (According to the JWs)

will you please explain to me the understanding of how the 7 trumpet blasts in revelation were fulfilled?

Wasn't there a post recently about Armageddon or as it is Har-Magedon being a literal location in Israel? An actual mountain. Isn't Revelation specifically talking about the 1st Century destruction of Jerusalem? And wasn't John on crack or something while he was writing this? Or LSD... one of those...
