  A Smurfy Tale: Papa Smurf Meets the Jehovah's Witnesses

  brother and sister bishop had to be the most annoying witnesses in our congregation.

  sister bishop was a shrill overweight busybody who had nothing else better to do than spread rumors about both people and inanimate objects.

  on the other hand, brother bishop was a rail thin cuckold of a man nearly 20 years younger than his wife.

  We heard the Smurf story in about the mid eighties. Almost the same as endofmysteries, except Papa Smurf just got up and walked out, not the talking part. Unbelieveable!!!

  Having a huge disagreement over a very petty matter. HELP!!

  my best friend and i have come to blows over such a petty thing.

  i would love to get the input of other people on this matter.

  please give me your honest answer so i know if i am out of touch.. i live in a community with mostly single profession people in their 40's and 50's.

  Hi Magwitch!

  I don't know it all seems a little silly to me unless it was special or really expensive rum/wine. You would have to trust someone at least to a degree to have them take care of their home and animals for so long. I hope your BF will agree to disagree and let it go.

  I have to say that I really love Bob Marley, and pretty much all of his songs.

  I definitely agree with Vivalavida, great pick!

  after watching serenity's video i had to comment.

  i kept pausing the video looking for family members or others that i might know but haven't seen in years.

  hated the drive to holt, but loved the soft serve ice cream.

  just thought i'd introduce myself.

  i've been lurking for a few months and want to get in on some of the conversation.. also here's a song that's taken on a new personal meaning for me.

  (i was born in to a witness family and have recently woke up to the fact that it is just a group of people following just men.

  Interesting song! It made me remember when I first came out of the Borg I really enjoyed a song by the Bodeans called "Closer to Free" the chorus goes... "Everybody wants to live how they wanna live and everybody wants to love how they wanna love and everybody wants to be closer to free"...(the music helps)... I had the CD in my car and would listen to it a few times and sing along (I only do that in my car when I am alone, because I can't really hold a tune) I don't know, somehow it made me feel better....
