StartingOver13 - Be patient. Of course they will re-instate you. Your old congregation elders will deal with your new elder's questions as soon as it is humanely possible. Elder's are up to their neck in paperwork - always have been.
I was privately reproved once and was not allowed to answer up at the meetings. After 6 months I approached the elders about being allowed to answer up again. It was 2 more months before they OK'd it. Part of the discipline is being humble enough to wait. What's the rush?
Would love to hear from you when your re-instatement is through.

Faith - Virtue or Vice?
by nicolaou infaith gives you permission to believe that jesus actually did feed thousands with a few loaves & fishes, walk on water and rise from the grave.
all the evidence proves that none of this happened so why persist with faith?
why be dishonest with yourself?

So cofty is on this platform to get his or her opinions changed? Is that what you mean?

Awake! and public Watchtower almost identical for appearance and content
by yadda yadda 2 ini was in a chinese take-out the other day and saw a couple of very recent awake and watchtower magazines on the counter, amongst other magazines.. i had a good flick through both of them and noticed how very similar both magazines now appear in terms of appearance and content.
i was left with the distinct impression that the public edition watchtower is now basically indiscernable from the awake!
regarding content.

nicolaou "I'm not asking this of newcomers so much but I do scratch my head at some posters who've been around here for a decade or more and have not budged one smegging inch from their starting position."
You've been discussing the subject of faith for the last decade on this platform? What's prompted you to bring it up again today? Is the purpose of jehovahs-witness.net to budge or change people's opinion's? Is that your purpose?
I am intrigued.

Famous Witnesses
by startingover13 ini've been doing some research about famous witnesses.
some were raised and eventually left, while others came in as adults.
they range from sports players, musicians, and entertainers.

I notice that Debbie Harry is not on the list, and yet "Blondie" is a member here LOL.
