Before I speak anymore about this, anyone challenging this prophecy is going to have to tell me something about themselves. Do you believe in a supreme being, etc?
The Existence of God
Again the early Bible students made an objective decision about the 1914 prophecy based on the best information that was at their disposal. They could have stated any date they wanted for the end of the Gentile times because it had not happened yet.
“It was in B.C. 606, that God’s kingdom ended, the diadem was removed, and all the earth given up to the Gentiles. 2520 years from B.C. 606, will end in A.D. 1914.” —The Three Worlds, published in 1877, page 83.
Will contradictory information surface later? Most certainly yes.
Tentative history gives us something to go by, but the grand theme of the Bible does not revolve around the 1914 prophesy, nor does tentative history disprove God's inspired word and its harmonious theme. There's a bigger picture to be considered. I provided some background information on this and of course no one commented on it.
What is the point in disproving the 1914 prophecy may ask? If the 1914 prophecy isn't true your not going to be destroyed by God like refuting Pascal's Wager means you may not go hell? Something to this effect?
