A psychologist/therapist doesn't treat medical depression/anxiety, a psychiatrist does. You can learn about your condition here (assuming you actually have one).

Preparing information about cults and mind control to a therapist...
by confliction ini'm currently visiting a psychologist/therapist to help me examine and work through my depression- i've had medical depression/anxiety all of my life.
i'm no longer anxious or excessively paranoid for the most part- that was a part of my younger childhood, probably from fears and nightmares of destruction at armageddon, and other childhood exaggerations and amplified fears.
but right now, she's treating me for a recent fall back into a depression.. anyways, for the most part, as you could guess, my depression stems from learning i have wasted my entire life (17 years) up to now in a cult, and pretty much my entire perceived world was nothing but an illusory concept.

What "invisible" persons do you actually firmly believe in?? (and Why?)
by Terry inimagine that!.
invisible persons!.
from ancient times some of us have imagined there to be living persons that can't be seen but that are more than real!.

Tracing the origins of the natural world posits belief in the supernatural.
If one insists on holding out for a scientific answer, then you will never find the answer. Any proposed explanation for the origin of the universe will be metaphysical and outside the reach of empirical science. -

And these types of ventures aren't equivalent to acknowledging the supernatural (higher planes)?

Imagining Other Dimensions
Our brains may not be equipped to picture ten spatial dimensions, but see if you can get to at least four here.
For most of us, or perhaps all of us, it's impossible to imagine a world consisting of more than three spatial dimensions. Are we correct when we intuit that such a world couldn't exist? Or is it that our brains are simply incapable of imagining additional dimensions—dimensions that may turn out to be as real as other things we can't detect?
String theorists are betting that extra dimensions do indeed exist; in fact, the equations that describe superstring theory require a universe with no fewer than 10 dimensions. But even physicists who spend all day thinking about extra spatial dimensions have a hard time describing what they might look like or how we apparently feeble-minded humans might approach an understanding of them. That's always been the case, and perhaps always will be.
The dimensions are supernatural until we have the means to detect them. You can say the same thing about the spirit realm. -

"So... let me get this straight: you honestly sent that letter and you honestly see nothing wrong with it. Did I get that right?"
Yes, you got that right. Dropping the letter in the mailbox was a contribution to personal liberty. Although family should be a source of support and encouragement, dysfunctional family members are part of life. I deal with it the best I can.

"There are better tactics for reaching people than meeting those who speak abusively about your church head-on, especially if it takes a tone of visual propaganda. If a religious opponent doesn't really care about the truth about things I would just ignore them."
I'm don't necessarily try to reach anyone by communicating on the internet. Proverbs3130 tries to draw attention to various Catholic activities, some formal, some festive and uses her blog as sort of an outreach program to encourage interest in her Church.

"Here's something you should understand Alice; I've done a cut and paste for you, you judgemental hypocrite:
"And the scribes and Pharisees brought unto him a woman taken in adultery; and when they had set her in the midst, They say unto him, Master, this woman was taken in adultery, in the very act. Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned: but what sayest thou? This they said, tempting him, that they might have to accuse him. But Jesus stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground, as though he heard them not. So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, Let he that is without sin among you, let him cast the first stone."---John 8:3-7
So Alice, who do you more resemble in your letter: Jesus, or the Pharisees?"
What I said was for my own benefit and emotional well being. Meaning, either choose some other coarse and don't bother me until then. I have to take up helping out with her mother because she's disgustingly negligent. She has no children so when she's too old to care for herself, into a nursing home she will go.
As a perfect man Jesus could take the severest of abuse and ridicule without sinning in thought, speech or action. There's a difference in saying something to someone and stoning them.
In the Law Moses prescribed for us to stone such sort of women. John 8:5
Part of the purpose for Jesus coming to earth was to replace the law of Moses. Jesus knew who the Pharisees and Sadducees were, that's why he always countered their intents.
When he caught sight of many of the Pharisees and Sadducees coming to the baptism, he said to them: “you offspring of vipers, who has intimated to you to flee from the coming wrath? So then produce fruit that befits repentance; Matthew 3:7-8 -

"No, you took it to a whole new level. You had to go for blood. Your's is a hate letter."
Sorry you see it that way. You also see things through a kaleidoscope most of the time so point not taken.

"Alice Rachel, btw, the letter you sent was so full of vitriol and was so disrespectful as to personify immorality. No moral person would have sent that letter. Morality includes ethics and your letter was unethical, hence, immoral.
I thank God you are not my niece."
She treats her mother with dementia like a brainless fool. Would you want a daughter like that if you developed dementia or alzheimer disease?

I think you should probably be aware, also, that sending hate letters through the mail may be against the law where you are.
Remember the letters sent to me, Alice?
The police investigated, found the sender and charged her. All it takes is for your aunt to feel either harrassed or physically in danger from you.
Where I am, the consequences of sending hate mail are : a $5000 fine and up to 2 years in prison.
Hope the "freedom" to beak off is worth it for you.
---------------------------------
Give a break. Once again you demonstrate your knowledge of law from watching fiction on TV or some related source.
What's is illegal is sending a message that contains a threat, an implied threat or if a person sends letters of a personal nature after they've been asked not to either by the person or the local authorities. A message for the purpose of terminating association with the person doesn't fit that description.
