Holy shit---295 confirmed dead now! Hurraines may swath a much wider path of destruction, but at least you usually get lots of warning as to when and where its goind to hit and you can hightail it out of there. Tornados can touch down any where and sometimes there is virtually no warning at all.

It's windy as hell up here in Ontario, but I think the majority of the really bad weather kept to the south. Although my sister (who lives in the Niagara region) phoned me this morning to tell me that several shingles on her roof came off and her gazebo, which was bolted into cement patio stones measuring 2 feet by 2 feet, was destroyed by wind which are being clocked at over 60 mph.

Glad you're okay Sylvia......lets hope Dinah's okay too....
