I admit it----I plan on getting up at 4:00 freaking AM to watch it. I remember getting up around that time 30 years ago to watch Charles and Diana's wedding.
Anyone else plan on watching it?

funny how things work.
i had just posted a sarcastic question on pc's thread about last nights call with the six screens folks when the door bell rang.
it was a jw lady and she was by herself.
JW: 1919? We don't teach anything about 1919. I think you're confused with the year World War One ended.
LMAO! Not only does she not know her own religions' history, she doesn't even know regular history. WWI ended in 1918---a year before they teach that Jesus chose them as the F&DSC in 1919.
1. what will help us to follow the tracks of righteousness?.
3. how can we learn more about gods righteousness?.
conform???.
What does the type of job you have and underlining a WT magazine have to do with righteousness???
Why Sylvia---it has everything to do with righteousness!! Being a window washer and underlining the Craptower study articles at exactly 0.06547 seconds per word will result in grand blessings by Jehovah and will mean you get that pet lion you've been aiming for in the Noo Cistern of Things! However, if you get a really good paying job where you have to miss the occassional meeting and underline your study article at 0.0666 seconds per word, you will be shunned now and be pushing daisies in the Noo Cistern.

If a certain type of work is plainly in conflict with Scriptural requirements, most of us quickly respond to the direction provided through the faithful and discreet slave class. When the answer to an employment question is not clear-cut, however, Bible principles should be noted and considered prayerfully.* This applies to such principles as the need to avoid offending the consciences of others.
Short of working as a stripper or a pimp, the bible is pretty silent on what types of jobs Christians can work at. It's funny how JWs are not allowed to work at a company that produces tobacco, but there's no problem with them working at companies that produce deadly chemicals that causes chemical and environmental cancers. And of course, the biggest bugaboo of all: Shift Work! How many JWs gave up good jobs that involved shift work due to pressure from the elders and the Organization itself? There's a slight bit of a difference between work that is "in conflict with scriptural requirement" and work that is "in conflict with the WTS's requirements."
When preparing for the Watchtower Study or the Congregation Bible Study, we ought to bear in mind the need to meditate on the information presented. Do we find ourselves always quickly underlining the answer to a study question and moving on to the next paragraph?
Ya......it's not enough to read it over at home, underline it, then go to the meeting and listen as it's read yet again and then covered again in the Review. Now apparently the average Dub can't even be trusted to underline the paragraphs at the proper speed! Tsk, tsk, tsk.......and they wonder why so many Witnesses are on antidepressants and suffer from mental disorders.
my last update on my daughter was so good...but it didn't turn out that way.
she was cleared to go back to work, but with limitations... she couldn't lift more than 10 pounds.
her employer wanted her back but wouldn't agree to the lifting restriction.
Oh geeze......I'm so sorry to hear about what your daughter is going through CB. Today is Friday, so I hope the surgery goes well. When you get a moment, please give us an update.
perhaps something that happened in fs, the memorial, convention etc.
i need a laugh.
last year at the memorial, an old brother was so shaky in the hands, when he passed the wine it spilled all over him.
Another funny one (courtesy of yours truly) was another CO's visit. I was sitting with my parents and the CO opens his talk by asking "Who was Ahab? (obviously referring to Jezebel's hubby)" I leaned over and whispered to my mom "Didn't he kill Moby Dick?" Well my mother was trying not to laugh but it was hard not to. Then she'd stop. Then a few minutes later she'd start laughing again. Then she'd stop. Finally had to get up and go in the bathroom she was laughing so hard.

When I lived in Calgary, we had this sister who had 4 or 5 kids. Her 'worldly' husband (a total loser) would sometimes come to the meetings so he could 'keep an eye on her' and to make sure she wasn't flirting with any other men there. He was a big fat greasy slob who stunk to high heaven as he rarely ever bathed and no one ever wanted to sit within 2 rows of him.
We also had another sister there whose 12 year old son had Tourette Syndrome and at that time, she did not know about medication that might help him. He would talk out loud during the meetings and go "f*ck Mary" or "f*ck Bill", etc. because he knew it got him attention. We were all shocked at first to hear language like that going on in the meetings, but we realized that the best way to deal with it was to ignore it because then the kid would probably stop. It worked for the most part and we got so used to hearing it after a while it didn't faze us anymore, but occassionally he'd be having a bad day and would throw things around and start with the F-shots.
This one particular Sunday, we had the CO's visit and during the WT study, the kid with Tourette's threw a book at the bro. conducting the Watchtower study and started yelling "f*ck Brother Dwayne, f*ck Brother Dwayne!" and simultaneously, the big fat greaseball worldly husband holds up his 4 month old kid and yells out loud to his wife "Vivien, this kid just shit his pants!" The CO and his wife were sitting behind us and I heard him say to someone else "What kind of a congregation is this?!"
I was trying not to laugh out loud at the whole thing..........LOL!!
you will need to be signed in to youtube to see it, or go to the bulgarian website (link below).

beat the pastors of jehovah's witnesses and wrecked their prayer house.. story from a bulgarian website - google translated.. .
That was disgusting and appalling to watch. No matter how much I despise the religion, attacking the people inside the KH like that is not the answer and I hope the idiots who organized this stunt go to prison for it. Jerkoffs.
I went.
well, i walked in and got the love-bombing before i even made it past the foyer.
everyone's missed me, everyone's thrilled that i came, blah, blah, blah.
to be fair though, there were a few there that i do miss so it was nice to see them.
Why do you go Mary...family???
Yep.
Think About It said: Mary.......you left out the important part. How hot did you look.
Ah geeze....you're worse than Minimus! I was hot last night. Some idiot had the heat jacked up and I was boiling. So I took off all my clothes.
